Dialog with loved ones – July 2018
Dear Loved One
Divine Blessings,
You are mine and whatever you are, is simply me. Both of us are reflections of each other. You are a dynamic noble personality brimming with love. Each drop of your blood is formed of love, and every action of yours is done only to taste this divine love. This, in fact, is the basic essence of your inner mind. Your mind is a divine nectar urn, churning out divine elixir each second.
But, this sad expression on your face gives me immense pain. Even your laughter conceals drops of tears in the corners of your eyes. These eyes seem so prone to cry out any moment. What is burdening you? Where did this fatigue come from? How did this lethargy reach the inner recesses of your mind? What are these deep painful marks on your mind?
You are full of love, your life should be a grand expression of love. Each moment of your life should be as sweet as honey. How did you forget to imbibe this divine taste of mind? Where did this depression come from? How did this melancholy misery of incomplete desires-wishes reach the inner bounds of your mind? Do you know that it has now started to destroy your own mind.
It is possible that – your expectations from life remained unfulfilled. You may have received little love from your family, or you might have faced a paucity of money. It is possible that you were unable to complete some tasks within expected time or you could have suffered setback at some stages. But these are the vagaries of time. All wishes do not get fulfilled, and that’s why they are called “wishes”. Where did these wishes emanate from? Your own mind, isn’t it. So, this mind should be made more fertile, you yourself need to spray love within your own mind. The mind needs these monsoon showers of love. Only then, will new creations and thoughts grow from this dry barren mind.
Everyone faces this depression and misery, within the cavernous depths of heart. Everyone carries this melancholy burden of despair. I ask you, why? You are different from everyone else. You are disciples of the Guru, you have a Guru. Accept yourself, respect yourself and start loving yourself. Shower yourself with all of your love. Blossom your life. Let your life and your mind bloom freely.
Why do you kill your own mind? Why do you feed worries and tensions onto your own mind, the mind which provides you with laughter and the energy. The mind which is brimming with divine nectar.
You must have seen crowds of people playing drums cymbals and bells in temples. These are not multitudes of devotees-believers. They are in fact, just a throng of depressed-disheartened chanting loudly and singing hymns. If you were to ask them, they have only a single desire – finding a solution to mental tensions, reduction of worries, removal of sadness, and a craving for rays of hope and shower of joy.
Perhaps you have developed a habit of partnering with someone for each and every one of your tasks. You have a witness for all your actions. You keep God as a witness during your prayers. You resolve keeping water as a witness. You just do not wish to be alone. Loneliness scares you. Tell me – what work have you accomplished without keeping a witness? Which decision have you taken on your own? I know a little about your depression, because I always find a way to enter your inner mind.
You need to communicate. With your own mind. Do you really require a sermon, a preacher or a motivational guide for this? A dialogue with your own mind is sorely needed, since the mind is very badly hurt inside. The depression has struck your mind, instead of your body. You need a Guru to terminate this depression. Only Guru can accomplish this. Guru initiates this communication.
And this dialog, whether silent or vocal, can only be made possible by a living spirited Guru. Real dialog is possible only with the Guru. We can only converse with, talk to, or listen-to other people. Guru does not preach any sermon or command any order to His disciple. He just communicates through a dialog, with your depression struck mind. With your own mind. By peering through your eyes, and by touching you.
The Guru enters into the deep recesses of your mind and catches those small deeply entrenched pains. The pains which have badly hurt your joyful loving personality. The Guru understands the root causes of these pains. Always remember that the Guru accomplishes this task of curing your depression and misery through you. He takes you to the upward path, where yourself gain the capability to view, comprehend and destroy these negative thoughts-feelings.
Guru is the Upanishad. Upanishad means sitting beside. This is the most significant action within your life. Only the one who is livened-spirited can enliven your mind. A smile is needed to share a laughter.
Guru Poornima is the festival of the Upanishad. It is a divine occasion to sit beside. It is the event of silent and vocal dialogue. Come, sit beside me, and let the dialog flow. Let us bring in a new start, usher a new life with this divine shower of joy. Do try, to come and meet me …
You should communicate with the Guru and you ought to meet Guru for the dialog to start…. Meet me every month, if possible. A silent gaze from your Guru can itself terminate multiple miseries of your mind.
I am yours, you are of Guru …
