Dear Loved One,

Dharma-Faith, Artha-Wealth, Kaama-Desires and Moksha-Salvation – The sole medium to achieve these four golden objectives-Purushaarths is a fully healthy and fit body. We should always take care to protect our body and mind.
Today, on the auspicious occasion of New Year, I have to specifically tell you that the greatest realization of life is this body. This body is the abode of all our senses-feelings, mind and soul. We have to use this medium of body to perform all activities to achieve the golden objectives of Faith, Wealth, Desires and Salvation. Lord Almighty blessed us through this body to act in accordance with noble ethics and faith, and regularly obtain new kinds of wealth. We should determine new types of goals in our life and keep performing various activities to achieve these goals.
The most significant fact is that – our conduct, our wealth and our actions should be tuned to grant us liberation i.e. salvation. The core purpose of our life should be to obtain joy from each action and activity of our life. You should ponder – Is our life flowing towards this prupose, or are we going in the opposite direction? Are our actions tying us up in more bondages-knots? Has our purpose of life reduced to collection of some things and some places? Has this thinking distracted us from joy, the original purpose of human life. It is definitely certain that a healthy mind resides in a healthy body.
Our mind is the focal point. Today, all of you have to consider – Do we want to lead our life in the new year according to our senses, or will we rein in our senses?
Only your mind can provide the best answer to this query. Mind is the linking bridge which connects your senses together with your intellect. This mind is very subtle, but it is spread across within your own self. This mind is highly powerful , and you can tread yourself on the path of knowledge, liberation and joy through this great power of mind.
The existence of body is the basic truth and we can see, feel and experience this body at every moment of our life. This is our sole medium. We can fully accomplish the four golden objectives Purushaarths, only if our body is healthy. This will enable us to give a meaning to our life.
Hey! The healthy body is the best boon that God has gifted us.
To enhance the capabilities of this body, we will have to control our senses and take them in that direction where both senses and mind resonate together in unison. The mind is the vital thread connecting the senses and body. This is the expression of the mental process. The mind is very generous and comfortable, it remains calm in every type of situation. Our mind never wanders, our senses wanders around and this mind repeatedly reaches out to those senses and combine them with your intellect.
In the past, you have taken great resolutions at the beginning of the new year and many of those resolutions stayed incomplete. In my opinion all of these resolutions remained incomplete because – We did not listen to our mind, we did not understand its perspective-viewpoint, and we let our senses wonder around in fifty different directions. You do not need to forcibly control the tendencies of your senses. However, it is important to give them the right direction. Your mind will be very glad when your senses partner together with your intellect. It will enhance your capabilities and potential. It will grant you much more joy. This mind will make your body healthier.
The easiest way to achieve this state is to liberate your mind, and to give it full freedom. Your beautiful unique mind is currently suppressed under various tendencies. It has become very weak, and needs proper care and nourishment. The first stage to accomplish this is – Meditation of the Divine; and the initial step of meditation is – Prayer-Worship. You gain strength to control your senses-tendencies through worship, and you dedicate yourself to God and Guru for a few moments.
The second stage after Prayer-Worship is called Sadhana. It enables you to concentrate your attention deeper on your senses and molds your intellect also in the same direction. The Sadhana awakens the optimistic feeling of hope inside you, strengthens your resolve, and terminates your frustration. You become more energetic to obtain success. Your firm determination becomes more stronger, and you achieve success in your goals. However, you should not stop yourself at this point.
Dhyaan-meditation is the next higher stage after Sadhana. At this Meditation stage, we forget everything – our mantra chanting, our asana, our surroundings, the deity, everything. We lose within ourselves and a special energy source starts emanating from our mind. Our holy scriptures have termed this as the Joy. This feeling of Joy energizes and pervades our soul.
We lose our own existence in meditation and lose track of time and place. This golden situation occurs only for a few moments, not hours. Such moments of meditation arise during the Sadhana. New creation is created within our own self during those golden moments, and we taste divine nectar to terminate all our faults and deficiencies. All of our toxicities get eliminated out. We attain a special divine power, which has been called as the Divine blessings. This exists within our own inner self, and meditation is its expression.
You cannot achieve Dhyaan-meditation by physical attempts. When you lovingly perform Sadhana of God, Guru, your deity, then during the depths of Sadhana, you enter the ocean of meditation. You should dissolve your mind and senses completely during those golden moments.
This then is the process, the feeling, through which you can completely cure your body and make it fully healthy. Our resolves become more firm and a divine sense of creation-novelty enters our mundane-rough life.
You should worship in proper routine, perform Sadhana with full discipline, and dedicate yourself to your divine God and Guru. “Sanyamena Mana AacharanaH” i.e. disciple your senses and conduct with restraint and actions. Your beautiful mind is very lovely. It is full of love and compassion. Concentrate it, remain joyful and meditate on Guru-God with full focus. Divine Blessings for the New Year …..
