Dialog with Loved Ones – January 2017
Dialogue with Loved Ones…
Dear Loved One,
Divine Blessings,
Om Trayambakam Yajaamahe Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam |
Urvaarukamiva Bandhnaanmrityormukhsiya Maamrataat ||
Another new year dawns within the eternal time cycle. The Time always flows in a continuous fashion but we have divided it into multiple blocks to suit our convenience. To enable us to ingest the novelty and discard the old ancient. The root prayer in the above Mantra wishes for fragrance in our lives, increased strength-vigour, freedom from bondages and embedding with the Holy Amrit Nectar. Fragrance should flow through our mental and physical states, full of a continuous flow of new, noble thoughts. The body should be free from diseases, emanting a spiritual fragrance, and we should constantly feel a circle of liberation around us, living with full freedom with a continuous inflow of holy Amrit nectar within us.
Everyone states that there is a specific art to lead a life and everyone wants to teach you the art of living. Thousands of motivational books have been written on this topic, but is the living of life, really an art? Can we deepen our skills and mastery through intense exercises. I myself do not think so, because every moment is a new moment, and you cannot learn a new art every moment. There is only one way – To gladly accept whatever the life is offering us and accept it with full mind. Everyone has a different set of lines on their palms, everyone is a unique creation of God and everyone has to lead his life, only by self. Instead of learning a new art, imbibe a few principles within your life, and take a firm resolve to follow these principles will full effort.
We need to change our life, behaviour, work and relations depending on the country, place, time and circumstances. Everything cannot be implemented in the same way everywhere, but you can at least follow the fundamental principles setup by you yourself. If we proceed through our internal mental principles ignoring the external pressures while understanding the societal morales, then I believe that this life will definitely turn into a sweet fragrant vigorous fountain of holy Amrit nectar.
God, Almighty, Divinity, Providence, SadGuru – who all are these? These all are your inner voices. The external noise can be overwhelming but the gentle spirit of your soul continuously keeps inviting you. It continuously stimulates you, wakes you up, teaches you, motivates you, provides bravery and strength, condoles you, provides confidence, and even grants peace; therefore the sound of the inner soul is the primary major voice. Anyone who learns to hear this voice, comprehend it, and start working according to it, he masters the art of living, will understand it completely. Because the inner space is filled up to brim with holy Amrit nectar.
Whatever principles you have thought and are following are the best, because you yourself have crafted these principles in the role of the Brahma, you are cradling them as the Vishnu yourself and you yourself are bringing in the changes through your own intelligence, discretion and conscience as the Shiva. Therefore you are a tiny microcosm of the great cosmos.
This process of change begins immediately. When you say that you are trying, then it means that you are not yet fully ready mentally to usher in the changes. It shows that mind is full of negative and status-quo desire.
Suddenly changing this negative emotion requires a great deal of courage. Do not wait for anyone else before making this change, initiate the change immediately. This love to God, love to Guru, Sadhana, meditation, penance, all of these processes start rapidly. You cannot do these slowly. You cannot perform Sadhana slowly or practice love slowly. These changes occurs suddenly within the mind and the transformation itself is the novelty. Do not inhibit this inner change within you.
The basic nature of the mind is to remain liberated, and you have tied this basic emotion into multiple bondages. It is possible that you have a large degree of responsibilities but do not let this burden impact your inner mind. You have suppressed the true emotions of your own inner mind and, therefore you stay unhappy. In reality, your mind wishes to dance away. Your mind is full of holy Amrit nectar. It wants to remain calm and peaceful because it is full of nectar. It does not need anyone. It is completely free. Do not let prejudiced emotions damage it. This is not a conflict between the ancient and the modern. The creation wishes to blossom, it desires to flower, do not stop it, let it flow naturally. The life is always creational. Continue to lead on your life values and your own life principles.
Another advice I shall like to state is that you cannot force all the people in this world to like you all the time. You desire that everyone should love you all the time. You wish that everyone should understand you all the time, and should accept your advice all the time. You want everyone to have sweet relations with you all the time. Especially you cannot control all those people. The thought that everything is not working according to our expectations is very scary, but think calmly in this novel life event, are all these things really important for you?
Do you require everyone’s acceptance, everyone’s agreement, everyone sweetness at all the times?
The joyous fact is that you yourself have accepted yourself and you are following your own principles. This is the most noble thought. You can also try to understand it in another simple way – “I have accepted myself, this is continuous creation“. Reduce the burden of redundancy, throw away the ancient garments. This is all past tense, just accept yourself and continue to follow your principles.
A common trait of good people is that one does need to remember them, they get memorized automatically. I do not need to memorize the names of my volunteers, their names automatically get etched on my mind through their Guru service.
Best Wishes and Divine Blessings to all of you volunteers and disciples for the New Year …
Cordially yours
