Dialog with Loved Ones – February 2018
Dialog with Loved Ones …
Dear Loved One,
We experienced great joy and tender moments during the Brahma Varchasava Sadhana ceremonies during the New Year eve. I sometimes marvel seeing so much enthusiasm from all of you. Such great enthusiasm, excitement, passion and energy is not an ordinary phenomenon. Definitely this is Nikhil energy. It is certain that Our SadGuru Nikhil is constantly inspiring us and His energy is transmitting into each Sadhak in the form of excitement and passion.
The Spring season is quickly approaching, the nature is displaying a new-novel form after the cold winter. That’s –
The beginning is within the ending, and the ending is within the beginning,
The spring melodies manifests after the autumn sighs
This lovely spring within nature arrives after the cold winter. The spring within our mind flows mentally through the Guru meditation. The mind knows that – Spring will definitely come after autumn. Therefore, whenever autumn appears in life, whenever obstacles stand in your way, then you should rise to the occasion and become much more energetic.
The enlivenment of the mind is the Spring element itself. This is a small difference between life and enlivenment. Everyone leads his or her own life, but only a disciple or a Sadhak understands the skill to lead an enlivened life. Neither body nor mind gets tired within this enlivened element. All the big problems of life turn into minor irritants. The problems always indicate that – we are moving forward on the path of progress. This is the significance of time –
The time controls day and night, it transitions from yesterday to today
Every second of time is a slave, the mighty time rules over everything
Our earth is constantly moving and Lord Sun has also entered towards Uttarayan. The nights have started to shrink, and the days are growing bigger. The nature seems to be telling us – Now, you will get more and more light. The same message also applies to life – If we take care of ourselves according to the vagaries of time, then we certainly achieve the happiness which we work so hard for. The duration of grief filled toil is definitely longer, in the pursuit of those hopes of happiness. The long dark nights should not be confused with sadness, rather they signify the natural excitement to transition away from the despair towards the eagerness of hope.
As the nature changes, our external mind also undergoes similar changes. However, you should remember that our inner mind, also known as Heart-Brahma, is always full of eternal nectar. It never gets frustrated or discouraged. We continually send distress messages to it, and repeatedly tell our inner mind about our sadness and desperation. However, your inner mind, the Heart-Brahma does not get disappointed, and keeps supplying hope and optimism to your personality. This is most important action of the inner mind. This inner mind is the abode of the Almighty God, the Guru. It has been stated that –
Brahmaanandam Paramasukhadam Kevalam Gyaanamoortim
Dwandwaateetam Gaganasadrisham Tatvamasyaadi Lakshayam |
It has also been described as –
Agyaana Timiraandhasya Gyaanaanjan Shalaakayaa |
Chakshurunmeelitam Yena Tasmei Shree Guruve NamaH ||
Therefore, it is highly important for you to join and merge with yourself, as this mind contains hope, excitement, spring, Guru and God Himself. When we merge with this Gurumaya inner mind, then the inner nectar of Brahmaanand Kalash, the eternal joy opens up.
You will be able to realize yourself, only when, you move deep into the inner recesses of your mind. The identity and goals given by others are hollow from within. You will get tired by running in the rat race to achieve these goals and identities specified by others. Hence Guru’s eternal message always emphasizes on “Revolt”. You should revolt to break these shackles on your mind. Guru does not teach to break the limits of the society, rather He encourages you to break the false pseudo horizons, so that you understand the truth, realize the “ShivoHam” Mantra. “ShivoHam” is the expression of Lord Shiva, which is always perfect. You should stop all unnecessary inner-conflicts and inner-obstacles of your mind, to embark upon this journey.
The onset of journey to “ShivoHam” expression heralds the onset of spring and destroys the anger. It doesn’t matter that unfulfilled incomplete desires fuelled this anger. Now you need to transition from anger to asceticism. You only need to have a little rein on your outer mind and start to anoint your inner mind.
The MahaShivraatri festival will come after Spring in this month, which signifies the merger of Shiva and Shakti in the universe. It is the Rebuilding of Creation after the Armageddon. Anoint your mind, similarly. You yourself are the Shiva and Shakti wishes to imbibe with full powers, within you. Anoint your soul to fulfill the incomplete desires of your mind, to fill your mind with divine nectar.
We do not have to take any action to force or kill the mind, we just need to understand the workings of the mind. We need to realize our Shiva expression, our sense of joy. Where do your sense the joy? How do you experience this joy? What makes you joyful? Consider these points, and think accordingly… Your sweet mind always thinks good for you. The principle of mind is –
Sarve Bhavantu SukhinaH | Sarve SantuH NiraamayaaH
Sarve Bhadraani Pashyantu | Maa Kaschid Dukha Bhaaga Bhavet
I only wish to tell you that – You should stay active and act with your mind, instead of running unnecessary in rat-race. The rat-race will tire you out, however the mind will be joyful if you perform proper actions. Your Heart-Brahma, your Shiva will be pleased. The Aadhyaa Shakti will merge completely with the Shiva of your mind, and you will move forward in your life towards creation with your full life-force.
Just one more bit – The Spring arrives after the autumn. Welcome the springs with your full heart, Open the doors of your heart … Remain happy with yourself … Be Joyful …. Keep up your spirits … Keep anointing your soul .. Keep tasting the Divine nectar or joy…
