अपनों से अपनी बात…
प्रिय आत्मन्,
आशीर्वाद,

 

नववर्ष की पूर्व संध्या पर दिल्ली आरोग्यधाम में गुरु शिष्य मिलन समारोह है। इस हेतु व्यक्तिगत रूप से तुम्हें बुला रहा हूं। यह हमारा मिलन ज्ञान यज्ञ है, जिस यज्ञ में भाव समर्पण है, जिस यज्ञ में ज्ञानाग्नि का बल है। उसी ज्ञान यज्ञ के महानतम समारोह सम्राटाभिषेक के लिये मैं तुम्हें बुला रहा हूं।

 

सबसे बड़ा बल ज्ञान बल ही है। निरन्तर और निरन्तर ज्ञान प्राप्ति के मार्ग पर चलते रहो। एक विश्‍वास के साथ, परिश्रम करते हुए, गुरु का दिशा-निर्देशन तुम्हारे भीतर के संसार को देखने की आदत का विकास करता रहता है और इसलिये अपने जीवन में सदैव और सदैव विवेक और अनुराग को संतुलित रखो। संसार का अनुराग तुम्हारे विवेक पर हावी न हो जाए इसलिये अपने मन, अपनी वाणी और अपनी कामनाओं को संयमित करो। इसी संयम से सद्गुणों का विकास होता है। यही तुम्हारी श्रेष्ठ मनोवृत्ति बने, जन्मजात प्रवृत्तियां तो भूख, प्यास, क्रोध, भय इत्यादि हैं ही, इनके लिये तुम्हें बुद्धि का कोई उपयोग नहीं करना पड़ता है लेकिन इनके ऊपर सद्गुणों का विकास करने के लिये ज्ञान और बुद्धि की आवश्यकता रहती है।

 

पहली बात तो यह जान लो कि सद्गुरु उपदेश नहीं देते, सद्गुरु केवल और केवल आह्वान देते हैं। अभ्यास की प्रेरणा देते हैं जो तुम्हारे स्वयं के ज्ञान और बुद्धि द्वारा ही संभव है।

 

ज्ञान प्राप्ति की सबसे पहले अपने घर से ही शुरूआत करो, अपना काम स्वयं करो। जितना शारीरिक श्रम, मानसिक श्रम तुम स्वयं कर सकते हो, करो। उससे और अधिक करने का प्रयास करो। प्रत्येक कार्य तुमसे अवश्य हो सकता है, आवश्यकता है – ज्ञान और बुद्धि के साथ इनका अभ्यास करो।

 

तुम यह काम कर सकते हो कि घर में शिक्षा का वातावरण हो, बच्चों को इस प्रकार का वातावरण दो कि उनमें ज्ञान प्राप्ति की सदैव और सदैव ललक रहे। उनका ज्ञान ही उनकी सबसे बड़ी पूंजी होगी। जो निरन्तर उनके पास रहेगी। बच्चों के सबसे बड़े गुरु उनके माता-पिता ही होते हैं। माता-पिता की शिक्षा-दीक्षा तो महत्वपूर्ण है ही, इसीलिए बच्चों की शिक्षा-दीक्षा भी अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है और बालिका शिक्षा को कभी भी दूसरे दर्जे पर, दोयम दर्जे पर मत रखना क्योंकि उनकी उचित शिक्षा-दीक्षा ही उनके पूरे परिवार का कायाकल्प करने वाली साबित होगी।

 

कभी भी अपने पुत्र और पुत्री में किसी प्रकार का कोई भेद न करो। ईश्‍वर ने तुम्हें संतान उपहार स्वरूप दी है। इस उपहार को पूरे मन से स्वीकार करते हुए उन्हें शिक्षा और ज्ञान का वातावरण दो, उन्हें अभ्यास का वातावरण दो। उन्हें उनके विवेक से कार्य करने, निर्णय करने का वातावरण दो।

 

जीवन में स्वच्छता आवश्यक है, अपने घर को स्वच्छ रखो और अपने तन-मन को भी स्वच्छ करते रहो। जब भी कोई दूषित विचार, विकार, आदत तुम्हारे मन में हावी होने लगे तो उसे तत्काल अपने प्रयास द्वारा अपने मन से हटा दो और यह तुम्हारे ज्ञान और बुद्धि द्वारा संभव है।

 

अपनी इच्छा किसी पर मत थोपो और न ही किसी दूसरे की इच्छा अपने ऊपर आरोपित होने दो। जो तुम्हारी स्वयं की इच्छा है, वही तुम्हारे लिये सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। इसीलिये किसी दूसरे को सुधारने की बजाय अपने आपको निरन्तर शुद्ध और परिष्कृत करते रहो। तुम और क्या कर सकते हो? इस पर ही विचार करते रहो।

 

उद्यमं साहसं धैर्यं विद्यां बुद्धिः पराक्रमः।
षडेते यत्र वर्तन्ते तत्र दैव सहायकृत॥

 

परिश्रम, साहस, धैर्य, ज्ञान, विवेक, पराक्रम इन छः गुणों के आधार पर ही तुम अपने जीवन को गति दे सकते हो। जहां ये छः गुण रहते हैं – उस मनुष्य को देवता भी अवश्य ही सहयोग प्रदान करते हैं।

 

विचार करो कि तुम्हारे कार्य में किस चीज की कमी है। कहां तुम्हारी गाड़ी बार-बार अटक जाती है? मेहनत करने से तुम घबराते नहीं हो, साहस तुम्हारे साथ हर समय है, कभी-कभी धैर्य नहीं रख पाते हो। जल्दी-जल्दी सब कुछ प्राप्त करना चाहते हो और सोचते हो कि आगे निश्‍चिन्तता प्राप्त होगी, ऐसा नहीं है। जहां परिश्रम और साहस हैं और वे बुद्धि से युक्त हैं वहां सफलता अवश्य प्राप्त होती है।

 

तुम जानते हो कि किसी भी क्षेत्र में, किसी भी कार्य को पूर्ण करने के लिये ऑर्डिनरी (जीवळपरीू) से एक्सट्रा ऑर्डिनरी (एुींीर जीवळपरीू) प्रयत्न करना पड़ता है। सामान्य प्रयत्न तो प्रत्येक मनुष्य की छोटी सी आदत है, उस प्रयत्न में जब तुम कुछ एक्सट्रा जोड़ देेते हो तो वह प्रत्यन उद्यम बन जाता है। इसके लिये विशेष पराक्रम चाहिये और इस पराक्रम का बुद्धि के साथ उपयोग करो। फिर किस बात की चिन्ता है तुम्हारे कार्य तो अवश्य पूरे होंगे। तुम्हारा कोई भी कार्य अधूरा नहीं रह सकता है। तुम्हारे जीवन में लक्ष्मी प्राप्ति का मार्ग, ज्ञान प्राप्ति के द्वारा ही संभव है।

 

गुरु और शिष्य का सम्बन्ध ज्ञान का सम्बन्ध है।

 

एक बात सदैव याद रखो कि अपने मन पर दूसरों का प्रभाव कम से कम आने दो। जब तुम्हारे मन पर तुम्हारा ही प्रभाव रहेगा, तुम्हारी ही इच्छा रहेगी, तुम्हारी ही भावना रहेगी तो यह मन सदैव श्रेष्ठ बना रहेगा और मन ही गुणों की खान है, इस मन से निरन्तर और निरन्तर नवनीत रूपी गुण निकालते रहो। तुम्हारे अन्दर हजार गुण हैं लेकिन एक छोटा सा अवगुण है कि दूसरों से प्रभावित हो जाते हो। उस प्रभाव पर नियन्त्रण लाओ और अपने मन के विशुद्ध भावों को ऊपर आने दो।

 

गुरु और शिष्य का सम्बन्ध प्रेम का सम्बन्ध है। जब तुम्हारे भीतर गुरु के प्रति हर समय आकस्मिक प्रेम उमड़ पड़ता है तो अन्दर की हर चीज खिल उठती है। ऐसा लगता है कि जीवन में वसंत ॠतु का आगमन हो गया है। तब वाणी, वर्तन, भाव, प्रतिभा सबमें परिवर्तन हो जाता है। निर्मल, समर्पित, प्रेम से तन, मन और वाणी में संयम उत्पन्न होता है और यहीं से परमात्मा का आविष्कार होता है।

 

आप अपने जीवन में सदैव प्रेम भरे भाव से युक्त हों, यह जीवन प्रेम के लिये ईश्‍वर ने उपहार दिया है। इसे प्रेम अमृत से सिंचित करते रहो… प्रेम में केवल आत्मा की अभिन्नता और समर्पण का आनन्द होता है…

पुनश्‍चः मेरी एक छोटी सी सलाह है – अनावश्यक आडम्बर दिखावे वाले खर्चों पर थोड़ा नियन्त्रण कर लो। जो तुम्हारे जीवन में स्थायी हैं, उसमें ही वृद्धि करने का प्रयत्न करते रहो।

The Guru-Disciple meeting event is scheduled on the the New Year eve at Delhi Arogyadhaam. I am inviting you personally to attend this. This union of ours is the Knowledge-Yagya, the Yagya full of emotional dedication powered by the strength of divine knowledge.I am inviting you to the greatest celebration of this knowledge-Yagya, the Samraatabhishek.

The knowledge is power supreme. You should continue unabated on this path of attaining knowledge and wisdom. Gurudev’s continuous guidance-direction develops your ability to see within the self as you continue with full faith and untiring efforts, so you should always maintain a balance between restraint and temptations. Control your mind, your speech and your desires, to ensure restraint over the temptations. This control initiates growth of noble qualities, keep practising it to inculcate this control within your basic mental nature. The hunger, thirst, anger and fear are your innate genetic tendencies, and do not require any mental thinking. However both knowledge and intelligence are required to develop the above-mentioned noble qualities.

First, you should understand that SadGurudev does not preach, rather SadGurudev beckons you. He encourages you to practice, which is possible only by your own knowledge and intelligence.

Initiate this learning from your own home, start doing your work yourself. Perform as much physical labour and mental exertion, as you can. Try to exceed your limits. You can certainly perform everything, the only requirement is that – you should practice using wisdom and intelligence.

You should setup a good educational environment for children at your home, keep encouraging the basic curiosity to learn in children. Their knowledge will be their biggest asset, which will always stay with them. The initial Gurus of the children are their parents. The education of parents is important, and therefore, the education of children is more important. Do not ignore the education of girls, because her proper upbringing and education will transform her entire family.

Never differentiate between your son and daughter. God has gifted you a child. Accept this divine gift by providing an environment of knowledge and learning to the child. Encourage them to practice. Let them develop the ability to take decisions, to make proper judgements and choices.

Hygiene is essential in life, keep your home neat and clean along with your own body and mind. Whenever any bad idea, malafide intention or a bad  habit starts entering your mind, evict it with full force quickly. This is possible through your own wisdom and intelligence.

Do not force your will on others, and do not let anyone dictate his or her desires to you. Only the wish developing in your mind with your own free will, is most suitable for you. Therefore keep refining and purifying your own self, instead of improving anyone else. Always keep thinking about what more can your do?

You can accelerate your life through the six qualities of Toil, Courage, Fortitude, Knowledge, Wisdom and Power. The Gods also support the person having these six attributes.

Think, what is lacking in your work. Where do you generally face problems? You do not run away from hard work, you are always full of courage, you lose patience sometimes. You wish to achieve everything quickly and dream of a settled life ahead. This is not so. Those full of drive and courage, having a wise and sound mind, will certainly always achieve success.

You should understand that one has to put in extraordinary exertions to accomplish any work, in any field, instead of plain ordinary efforts. Every human being has an innate tendency to put in ordinary effort, when you add any extra effort into it, then that trial becomes an enterprise. You need special strength to achieve this, and you should utilize this special strength with full intellect-wisdom. Then why are you worried, your tasks will certainly get accomplished. You cannot let any work remain incomplete. The path to attain Lakshmi (wealth) in your life, can be achieved only though attaining knowledge and wisdom.

The relationship between Guru and disciple is based on knowledge.

Always remember to protect your mind from influence of others. Your mind shall always remain perfect when it remains within your sole influence, and is full of your own will and wishes. Mind is the treasure trove of noble qualities, keep extracting these noble qualities from the mind. You have thousands of good qualities and only one defect that others can easily influence you. Control this defective nature and let pure thoughts and emotions enter your mind.

The relationship between Guru and disciple is full of love. When your mind overflows with love towards your Guru, it blooms up everything within your own self. It triggers the onset of spring in your life. This stimulates  changes within the speech, conduct, humour and talent. The pure dedicated love creates restraint within the body, mind and speech, and this initiates the divine blessings.

Let you be ever full of a loving spirit within your life, God has gifted you this life to enable you to love. Keep feeding it with the nectar of love…  The love is full of joy through the merger and dedication of the soul.

PS: I have a little advice – Start controlling the expenses for  unnecessary ostentatious appearances. Focus on developing whatever is permanent in your life.
