मेरे सद्गुरु
सब ओर आप ही आप हैं
यह शरीर यह मन यह भाव सब आपका है

हजारों लाखों वर्षों से यह सनातन संस्कृति जीवन्त है और इसका प्रत्येक के जीवन में महत्व है। यह जीवन का आधार है। हमारे ॠषि-मुनियों ने इस महत्व को जान लिया था।

प्रत्येक व्यक्ति को सनातन संस्कृति को वैज्ञानिकता से समझाना संभव नहीं था इसलिये हमारे ॠषियों ने गहरी और गूढ़ बातों को सरल-सरल परम्पराओं और रीति-रिवाजों का हिस्सा बना दिया जिससे हम सनातन धर्म, संस्कृति के ज्ञान-विज्ञान से निरन्तर लाभ प्राप्त करते रहें।

सनातन धर्म, संस्कृति का आधारभूत तत्व सद्गुरु ही हैं और इसी सद्गरु के ज्ञान तत्व को शिष्य में संचारित करने के लिये परम्परा, रीति-रिवाज में रखते हुए गुरु पूर्णिमा उत्सव रूप में मनाया जाने लगा।

गुरु पूर्णिमा तो गुरु पर्व है, ज्ञान पर्व है, शक्ति पर्व है, सत्य पर्व है, धर्म पर्व है, चेतना पर्व है, तप पर्व है, परिवर्तन पर्व है। आप सभी को गुरु पूर्णिमा की बहुत-बहुत बधाई, शुभकामनाएं।

सद्गुरु क्या है और सद्गुरु का स्वरूप क्या है, सद्गुरु का ज्ञान क्या है, सद्गुरु कैसे हैं? एक भावांजलि –

  • जो जीवन में शिक्षा देता है वह गुरु है और जो जीवन को ही बदल देता है वह सद्गुरु है।
  • जो बाह्य संसार का ज्ञान देता है, वह गुरु है और जो अन्तर मन के संसार को ही बदल देता है, भीतर से ही बदल देता है वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो भू-भुवः-स्वः (पृथ्वी, आकाश और अन्तर्मन) सा व्यापक है वह सद्गरु है। 
  • जो एक ही समय में जल, थल और नभ में विद्यमान है, जिसकी उपस्थिति एक साथ मुझे जल, थल और नभ में मिलती है वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जिस कारण से, जिस कार्य के लिये यह शरीर बना है उसका जो चिकित्सक है वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो अध्यात्म विद्या का मर्मज्ञ है वह सद्गुरु है।
  • जो शिष्य की चेतना को सम्पूर्ण विस्तार दे, वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो मन से भ्रम निकाल दे, सारी भ्रांतियों का निवारण कर दे, वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो शिष्य को तपा-तपा कर निखार दे वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो इस भवसागर से पार करा दे, दुःखों से पार करा दे वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो अज्ञान के अंधकार को सम्पूर्ण रूप से मिटा दे वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • इस जीवन को जो नई परिभाषा दे, वह ही सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो स्वार्थ को मिटाकर परमार्थ भाव जगा दे वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो जीवन को जीना सिखा दे, वह सद्गुरु है। 
  • जो सत्य की परिभाषा है, वो मेरा सद्गुरु है। 
  • वेद मूर्ति, तपोनिष्ठ भाव से युक्त है वह मेरा सद्गुरु है। 
  • सत्युग की वापसी जिसका लक्ष्य है, वह मेरा सद्गुरु है। 
  • शिष्य में देवत्व जाग्रत करता है वो मेरा सद्गुरु है।

दीक्षा – दिव्य परमात्मीय घटना 
सद्गुरु से प्राणिक – समर्पित जुड़ाव

दीक्षा एक ईश्‍वरीय अनुकम्पा है । यह एक घटना है – जो संयोग से घटती है बस घट जाती है । जो दीक्षा लेने की सोचकर आते हैं वो बिना लिए ही लौट जाते हैं और जिन्होंने विचार तक नहीं किया वो दीक्षित होकर हमेशा-हमेशा के लिए गुरु से अभिन्न हो जाते हैं।
यह एक दिव्य और परमात्मीय घटना है इसे न तो कोई देता है न कोई लेता है बस घट जाती है, परमात्मा का अवतरण चुपचाप हो जाता है और उसी अवतरण का गुरुमात्र साक्षी हैं, दृष्टा हैं । आपको संसार का पता है,परमात्मा का नहीं । गुरु को दोनों का पता होता है वह दृष्टा है, साक्षी है  इस घटना का, क्योंकि गुरु परंपरा से होती हुई वह चिन्मय शक्ति आपके गुरु में एकत्र होती है । गुरु दिव्य चेतना का पुंजीभूत रूप ही तो है और आपमें आपकी पात्रता के अनुरूप वह दिव्यशक्ति उतरती है जिसे शक्तिपात कहते हैं और उसी का साक्षी बन जाते है गुरु ।

शिष्य यदि चाहे तो दीक्षा लेने से पूर्व ही पग पग पर गुरु की परीक्षा ले सकता है उन्हे जांच सकता है लेकिन एक बार दीक्षा ले ली, गुरु को स्वीकार कर लिया तो फिर उसके बाद (दीक्षा के बाद) तो गुरु को समग्ररूप से ग्रहण करना होता है यदि आपका आकर्षण बौद्धिक स्तर पर ही है और आप दीक्षा ले लेते हैं तो वैसी दीक्षा की कोई उपयोगिता नहीं है – वह बिलकुल अधूरी दीक्षा है ।

कोई स्वार्थ, कोई शर्त, कोई लिप्सा यदि हो तो दीक्षा व्यर्थ हो जाती है क्योंकि वैसे लोग समर्पण नहीं कर पाते।

सद्शिष्य होने की उसमें पात्रता नहीं होती परन्तु यदि कोई इतना खो जाए गुरु के चिंतन में, विग्रह में, उसके भाव में कि उनके साथ हर क्षण भावोत्कर्ष में ले जाए, उनके प्रेम में इतना डूब जाए कि उसे गुरु की प्राणिक अनुभूति होने लग जाए, उनका सब कुछ अपना-अपना सा लगे, परम शान्ति को उपलब्ध हो जाए, उनकी हर चेष्टा परम प्रिय लगने लगे, आनंद और शान्ति की परा अनुभूति हो और जब किसी व्यक्ति के प्रति इतना दिव्य और पवित्र आकर्षण हो जाये की वह बौद्धिक विलास की वस्तु न होकर प्रेमास्पद बन जाये, हृदयांगन में उतर जाये, मस्तिष्क , बौद्धिक तल के झरोखों से, तो उसे ही अपना सदगुरु बना लें वही आपके लिए सदगुरू हो सकता है अन्यथा दीक्षा भी एक बंधन है और नहीं टूटने वाला बंधन निर्मित न करें । दीक्षा के बाद कुछ भी समर्पित करने लायक शेष न रहे जो कुछ भी था समर्पित हो जाये तभी दीक्षा पूर्ण होती है, तभी अध्यात्म के दुर्गम पथ के पथिक की पात्रता आपमें आ सकती है और आपका उद्देश्य या भाव हो तो उसे विसर्जित कर दें ।

This Sanatan Sanskriti culture has been eternal since thousands-millions of years, and it is significant in everyone’s life. Our sages-ascetics had understood its significance.

It was not possible to scientifically explain this Sanatan Sanskriti to everyone, so sages transformed complex and esoteric concepts into simple traditions and customs-rituals so that we could continue to receive benefits  from the Sanatan religion and Sanskriti knowledge-science.

SadGuru is the basic foundation element of the Sanatan religion and culture, and the transmission of this knowledge-wisdom element of SadGuru into the disciple started to be celebrated as Guru Poornima festival in the context of traditions and customs-rituals.

Guru Poornima is the Guru fiesta, the wisdom fiesta, the Shakti power fiesta, the truth fiesta, the religion fiesta, the consciousness fiesta, the tenacity fiesta, and the transformation fiesta. Best wishes and heartiest congratulations to all of you on Guru Poornima.

What is SadGuru, and what is the form of SadGuru, what is the wisdom-knowledge of SadGuru, and how is SadGuru? An emotional composition –

  • One who imparts education in life, is a Guru; and one who transforms the life itself, is SadGuru.
  • One who imparts knowledge of the external world, is a Guru; and one who transforms the inner world of mind itself, changes it from within, is SadGuru.
  • One who is omnipresent in Bhu-BhuvaH-SwaH (Earth, Sky and Conscience), is SadGuru.
  • One who is present on the land, sea and the sky simultaneously at the same time, whose presence I sense jointly from the land, sea and the sky, is SadGuru.
  • The cause-reason, the work for which this body is made, the therapist of this, is SadGuru
  • One who comprehends the deep complexities of the spirituality, is SadGuru.
  • One who fully expands the consciousness of the disciple, is SadGuru.
  • One who removes the illusion from the mind, who resolves all the mysteries, is SadGuru.
  • One who enhances disciple’s glory by putting him into rigorous austerities and penances, is SadGuru.
  • One who helps in crossing this cesspool, who carries us away from the sufferings, is SadGuru.
  • One who completely wipes away the darkness of ignorance, is SadGuru.
  • One who imparts a new definition to this life, is SadGuru.
  • One who initiates benignity by eradicating selfishness, is SadGuru.
  • One who teaches how to lead the life, is SadGuru.
  • One who is the definition-expression of truth, is my SadGuru.
  • One who is full of Vedic-expressions and asceticism, is my SadGuru.
  • One whose goal is return of the Satyuga, is my SadGuru.
  • One who awakens divinity in the disciples, is my SadGuru.

Diksha-Initiation – Divine Providential Event

Diksha-Initiation is a divine blessing. This is an event – which occurs through fortune, it just happens. Those who come planning to take Diksha, leave without obtaining it; and those who did not even think of it, they eternally integrate with Guru by obtaining Diksha.

This is a divine and providential event, none grants Diksha, none obtains Diksha, it just happens, the divine incarnation goes quiet and Guru is the sole witness and spectator of this incarnation. You only know about the world, not the divine. Guru comprehends both, He is the witness, and the spectator of this incident, because that divine consciousness flows cumulatively through the Guru tradition onto your Guru. Guru is the visual form of the divine consciousness and that energy enters into you according to your eligibility, which is called Shaktipaat, and Guru is the witness of this energy flow.

If a disciple desires, he can examine and test the Guru at each step, before taking Diksha-initiation; however, once he has obtained Diksha, he has accepted Guru, then he has to completely imbibe Guru within him, if your attraction is limited to intellectual plane, and if you take Diksha, then there is no utility of such a Diksha – it will be an incomplete Diksha-initiation.

If there is any selfishness, prior-condition, or lust-desire; then the Diksha becomes a waste, since dedication and surrender is absent in such people.

If a disciple is not eligible to be SadShishya, what if he is so immersed in the contemplation of the Guru, in His figure, in His senses, that each moment with Him becomes emotionally-intensive, immerses so deeply in his live for Him that he starts to sense the soul of Guru, he feels everything of Guru to be his own, he achieves divine peace, he loves each gesture of Guru, gets divine sensations of peace and joy, and when one develops such pure love and divine attachment towards someone that he transcends from the intellectual desires to pure love, pierces deep into his heart, through the intellectual mind vents, then make Him your SadGuru, only He can become your SadGuru, otherwise Diksha is also a bondage, and do not create a fragile bond. There should be nothing left to dedicate after the Diksha, whatever was, all of it has been offered, then the Diksha achieves completion, then you become eligible to transcend the  difficult spiritual path, and immerse all your desires and emotions.
