अपनों से अपनी बात…
प्रिय आत्मन्,
शुभाशीर्वाद,

 

प्रत्येक मनुष्य अपने जीवन में उन्नति करना चाहता है और उसकी प्रथम इच्छा भी रहती है कि मैं अपने जीवन में पूर्ण रूप से भौतिक उन्नति प्राप्त करूं, अपने जीवन में संसार के सारे सुख-सौभाग्य, भोग, विलास, पद-मान, प्रतिष्ठा, घर-परिवार, व्यापार, भूमि-भवन, वाहन, धन-धान्य, सम्पदा आदि का सुख प्राप्त करूं और उसके पश्‍चात् मैं आध्यात्मिक उन्नति भी प्राप्त करूं। प्रत्येक व्यक्ति ने अपने जीवन को भौतिक और आध्यात्मिक दो भागों में बांट दिया है और उसका यह विचार बन गया है कि भौतिकता और आध्यात्मिकता का मिलन नहीं हो सकता है आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के लिये, भौतिकता को त्यागना पड़ता है और भौतिक उन्नति के लिये आध्यात्मिकता को त्यागना पड़ता है। यह विचार उचित नहीं है। प्रत्येक प्रकार की उन्नति का आधार ‘ज्ञान’ ही है और यदि हम अपने ज्ञान को आधार बनाकर, जानकर, समझकर अपनी पूर्ण क्षमता, कुशलता के साथ कार्य करते हैं, क्रिया करते हैं तभी हमारी ‘उन्नति’ होती है। उन्नति का मार्ग ही ‘लक्ष्य’ की ओर जाता है।

 

भौतिक और आध्यात्मिक दोनों ही पक्ष हमारे जीवन के आधारपक्ष हैं, दोनों पक्ष आपस में पूरी तरह से जुड़े हुए हैं। भौतिक उन्नति के लिये आध्यात्मिक भाव आवश्यक है और आध्यात्मिक उन्नति के लिए भौतिक पक्ष का संबल आवश्यक है। अब प्रश्‍न उठता है कि भौतिकता के इस संसार में रहकर आध्यात्मिक उन्नति कैसे प्राप्त की जाए? बिना आध्यात्मिकता के भौतिक उन्नति अस्थाई है, वह कभी भी समाप्त हो सकती है लेकिन जब आध्यात्मिक भाव के साथ भौतिक उन्नति प्राप्त होती है तो वह स्थाई उन्नति बन जाती है।

 

अतः मनुष्य के पास जो भी साधन उपलब्ध हैं उनका उपयोग उसे अपनी आध्यात्मिक और भौतिक उन्नति के लिये निरन्तर करते रहना चाहिए।

 

अब विचार करते हैं कि हमारे पास क्या साधन हैं और हम इन उपलब्ध साधनों से क्या क्रिया कर सकते हैं। ईश्‍वर ने जो ये साधन (उपकरण) प्रदान किये हैं उसे क्रिया रूप में लाने के भाव को साधना कहा जाता है। आप सभी के पास सामान्यतः तीन प्रकार के साधन हैं –

 

1. देह, 2. धन और सांसारिक सम्बन्ध, 3. मन और बुद्धि।

 

प्रत्येक मनुष्य को एक सुन्दर सी स्वस्थ देह ईश्‍वर द्वारा प्राप्त हुई है। हर मनुष्य का यह प्रयत्न होता है कि वह अपने पूरे जीवन में स्वस्थ रहे लेकिन क्या यह संभव हो पाता है? ईश्‍वर द्वारा प्राप्त देहरूपी उपहार (साधन) का हम कितना श्रेष्ठ उपयोग कर रहे हैं, इसे किस प्रकार प्रयोग में ला रहे हैं? इस पर अनाचार, अत्याचार तो नहीं कर रहे हैं, इस देह से ही भौतिक उन्नति की यात्रा प्रारम्भ होती है।

 

मनुष्य के पास दूसरा साधन धन और सांसारिक सम्बन्ध है। मनुष्य को कुछ धन पैतृक धन के रूप में प्राप्त होता है और कुछ धन मनुष्य अपने प्रयासों से अर्जित करता है। वह अपने धन का संग्रह करता है, संचय करता है, भौतिक उपकरण खरीदता है। धन के माध्यम से  ही मनुष्य अधिक से अधिक भौतिक संसाधनों को प्राप्त करना चाहता है। धन का ही स्वरूप भूमि, भवन, अधिकार, स्वर्ण, आभूषण इत्यादि कहे जा सकते हैं। इसी प्रकार ईश्‍वर द्वारा मनुष्य को कुछ सांसारिक सम्बन्ध भी प्राप्त होते हैं। इन सांसारिक सम्बन्धों को माता-पिता, भाई-बहन, रिश्तेदार, मित्र, जान-पहिचान, परिचय आदि कहे जा सकते हैं। मनुष्यों को इन सब पर बड़ा अभिमान रहता है कि मैं अमुक कुल का हूं, अमुक-अमुक व्यक्ति मेरे जान-पहचान के हैं, अमुक व्यक्ति मेरे मित्र हैं। इन सब सांसारिक सम्बन्धों में वह अपने आपको बड़ा ही सुरक्षित अनुभव करता है।

 

इसके अतिरिक्त ईश्‍वर ने प्रत्येक मनुष्य को मन और बुद्धि रूपी उपकरण भी प्रदान किए हैं। मन और बुद्धि के द्वारा अपनी देह और धन के सहयोग से वह सांसारिक, भौतिक उन्नति प्राप्त करने का प्रयत्न करता रहता है। वह निरन्तर जोड़-तोड़ का प्रयत्न करता रहता है। अपना मनचाहा जीवन जीना चाहता है, अपने जीवन में शीघ्रातिशीघ्र भौतिक मनोकामनाएं पूर्ण करना चाहता है।

 

आप विचार करें कि आपने ईश्‍वर द्वारा प्रदत्त इन साधनों का उपयोग किस प्रकार की उन्नति के लिये किया है? मेरे विचार से आध्यात्मिक भाव के बिना भौतिक उन्नति खोखली और अधूरी है। अध्यात्म की भाव-भूमि ठोस भाव-भूमि है, जिस पर आपके जीवन की भौतिक ईमारत मजबूती से खड़ी रह सकती है।

 

जीवन में पूर्णता केवल और केवल सेवा, सहयोग, दान, धर्म, आचार-विचार, व्यवहार, शील, संतोष, शांति से ही प्राप्त हो सकती है। इन गुणों का ही विशेष विकास करना है। इस हेतु गुरु, संत, ज्ञानी अपने शिष्यों को ज्ञान रूपी अमृत प्रदान करते रहते हैं।

 

ज्यादातर मनुष्य देह, धन-सांसारिक सम्बन्ध और मन-बुद्धि के आधार पर ही अपने जीवन का क्रिया कलाप करते रहते हैं। इस कारण जीवन में पूर्णता प्राप्त नहीं हो सकती है और पूर्णता प्राप्त करने का एक ही साधन है ‘छठी इन्द्रिय जागरण’। गुरु द्वारा प्रदत्त शक्ति से छठी इन्द्रिय शक्ति जाग्रत हो जाती है, जिससे वह अपने जीवन में विशेष अध्यात्म शक्ति प्राप्त करता है और इस शक्ति से उसके भौतिक क्रिया कलाप भी सहज पूर्ण हो जाते हैं। 
गुरु अपने शक्तिपात द्वारा, प्रवचन द्वारा छठी इन्द्रिय जागरण की क्रिया सम्पन्न करते हैं। छठी इन्द्रिय जाग्रत होने पर मनुष्य अपनी उन्नति के साथ-साथ दूसरों को भी सहयोग देकर ही पूर्ण प्रतिष्ठा प्राप्त करता है। गुरु का कार्य तो सर्वजन हित के लिये ही कार्य करना है। इस कार्य में शिष्य का सहयोग परम आवश्यक है तभी जीवन में पूर्णता प्राप्त हो सकती है। 

 

जीवन में पूर्णता का अर्थ है स्वयं के द्वारा दूसरों की सेवा, दान, सहयोग, समर्पण और प्रेम। पूर्णता का सबसे बड़ा भाव है – नित्य-नित्य उस परम शक्ति और उस परम शक्ति के प्रतीक स्वरूप अपने गुरु का ध्यान करना, गुरु का कार्य करना।

 

ईश्‍वर द्वारा ये साधन प्रत्येक मनुष्य को प्रदान किये गये हैं। मूल प्रश्‍न है कि इन साधनों का कौन भली-भांति उपयोग करता है और कौन इन साधनों को व्यर्थ में ही गंवा देता है। जिस प्रकार से कालचक्र निरन्तर गतिशील है उसी प्रकार इन साधनों में गतिशीलता बनाए रखना आवश्यक है अन्यथा इन साधनों का भी धीरे-धीरे ह्रास होने लगता है इसीलिये यह आवश्यक है कि इन साधनों का उपयोग कर भौतिक एवं आध्यात्मिक उन्नति प्राप्त की जाए।
अब विचार करते हैं कि देह, धन और बुद्धि द्वारा आध्यात्मिक उन्नति कैसे प्राप्त की जाए?

 

देह – देह से सेवा करने का तात्पर्य है, इस देह को ईश्‍वर की सेवा में लगाना, अपने स्थान पर आध्यात्मिक, धार्मिक कार्यक्रमों में योगदान करना, मंदिर, पूजा स्थान को स्वच्छ रखना। साधकों को कार्यक्रम स्थल पर ले जाना, आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान, प्रवचन के प्रचार-प्रसार हेतु पोस्टर, पैम्पलेट, प्रपत्र, पत्रिका का वितरण करना।

 

धन और सांसारिक सम्बन्ध – आध्यात्मिक प्रवचन, शिविर, सत्संग, मासिक पूजन, सामूहिक साधना हेतु कार्यक्रम स्थल की व्यवस्था करना, उसे उपलब्ध कराना, उसके लिये उचित धन की व्यवस्था करना, गुरु संस्था में भेंट, अपनी संस्था हेतु नियमित रूप से आध्यात्मिक प्रवचन शिविर का आयोजन करना, अपने मित्रों-परिचितों, सम्बन्धियों को शिविर में आमंत्रित करना। शिविर, प्रवचन हेतु देह सेवा करने वालों की आर्थिक मदद करना अर्थात् पोस्टर, पैम्पलेट इत्यादि शिविर स्थल हेतु उपलब्ध कराना।

 

बुद्धि और मन – प्रत्येक व्यक्ति के पास कुछ रचनात्मक और बौद्धिक क्षमता अवश्य होती है, उस क्षमता का उपयोग आध्यात्मिक कार्यों के लिये करना, अपनी बुद्धि का उपयोग कर अध्यात्म शास्त्र का अध्ययन करना, स्वयं निरन्तर साधना करना और साधना के सम्बन्ध में अन्य लोगों को भी बताना, उनका अपनी बुद्धि के अनुसार मार्गदर्शन करना, अपनी लेखन शैली, ज्ञान का उपयोग ईश्‍वरीय – गुरु ज्ञान के प्रचार-प्रसार के लिए और आध्यात्मिक ज्ञान के विस्तार के लिये लेख लिखना। कार्यक्रम आयोजन के अभिलेख लिखना, स्थानीय समाचार पत्र-पत्रिकाओं में आलेख लिखना।

 

सार रूप में यह कहा जा सकता है कि जो हमारे पास है, उसे हम अपनी साधना मानकर निरन्तर गुरु को समर्पित करते रहते हैं तो हमारी आध्यात्मिक उन्नति अवश्य होती है। आध्यात्मिक उन्नति का क्रम विशुद्ध रूप से देह से प्रारम्भ होकर, धन का साधन लेकर, बुद्धि और मन द्वारा विशेष ज्ञान को प्राप्त करना है। अध्यात्म सिद्धान्त यह कहता है कि जो कुछ भी है वह ईश्‍वर का दिया हुआ है और उसे समर्पण भाव के साथ ईश्‍वर को ही अर्पित कर देने से आध्यात्मिक उन्नति प्राप्त हो सकती है। 

 

मेरे विचार से आध्यात्मिक उन्नति ही भौतिक उन्नति का आधार है, जीवन में अध्यात्म का भाव रहने से कभी भी मन में भय, विचलन, संदेह की स्थिति नहीं आती है। मनुष्य निश्‍चिन्त होकर आनन्द के साथ अपना जीवन जीता है।
याद रखिये अध्यात्म ही आपके जीवन का आधार है, नित्य आध्यात्मिक और भौतिक उन्नति के बारे में अवश्य विचार करें…।

Every person wants to progress in life and his primary wish is that – I should attain complete progression  in my life, I should get all types of pleasures from my desires-fortunes, amenities, luxury, position-prestige, reputation, family-household, business, property, vehicles, money-wealth, estate  etc. ; and thereafter I should also achieve spiritual advancement.  Each person has divided his life into material and spiritual components and his general outlook is  that union of materialism and spirituality is not possible, one has to sacrifice materialism for spiritual growth and spiritualism for material growth. This is a wrong perspective.  “Knowledge” is the basis for each type of progress and we can achieve “progress” only by working through our full potential and efficiency, after understanding and comprehension of  “knowledge” as our basic foundation. This path of progress takes us towards our “goal’.

 

Both material and spiritual aspects are foundations of  our lives, and both sides are interconnected to each other fully. Spiritual sagacity is necessary for material progress and influence of  physical accomplishments is required for spiritual growth. Now the question arises that how to acquire spiritual advancement while living in this world full of materialism.  The material growth without spirituality is temporary, it can end any time; but when physical development occurs in conjunction with spiritual sense, then it becomes a permanent, sustainable growth..

 

So a person should utilize all his resources towards his spiritual and material advancement.

 

Now let us consider-  what resources are available to us and what process can be accomplish using these available means. The expression of utilizing the means (tools) gifted by God, to perform actions;  is called Sadhana. All of you generally have three types of resources –

 

  1. Body, 2. Wealth and worldly relations, 3. Mind and intellect.

 

Every person has received a beautiful and healthy body from God. Everyone endeavors to remain healthy throughout his life but  is it generally possible? How well are we utilizing this physique gift (tool), how are we using it,? Are we not abusing or mistreating it, the journey of material progression initiates from this body.

 

The second tool is the human wealth and worldly relations. Some wealth is bequeathed as ancestral wealth,  and some money is earned from the efforts. One collects one’s money, accumulates it and purchases physical implements. A person wishes to obtain more and more material items through money.  The land, buildings, power, gold, jewelry, etc. can all be said as a form of wealth. Similarly, God bestows some family relations to a person. These worldly relations can be termed as parents, siblings, relatives, friends, contacts, acquaintance, etc.  People generally have a great pride that I belong to a certain clan, I have certain important personalities as my acquaintances, or a certain person is my friend. He feels very safe within these worldly relations.

 

In addition, God has equipped each human with mind and intellect.  He endeavors to obtain material and physical progress through his mind and intelligence, collaborating with his body and worldly wealth. He constantly strives to manipulate and advance. He wants to lead a life as per his desires, he wishes to fulfill his material wishes as soon as possible.

 

You should consider how well you have utilized these Providence conferred tools for progress? In my opinion, the physical progress is shallow and incomplete without the spiritual advancement. The spirituality platform is the solid base on which the material building of your life can firmly stand.

 

One may achieve perfection in life only through service, support, charity, religion, morals, ethical behavior, modesty, contentment and  peace. One should especially develop these qualities. To accomplish this, the Saints, Masters and Gurus keep providing the nectar of wisdom to their disciples.

 

Most people keep on living their life using their physical body, wealth, worldly relations and their mind-intellect. Therefore they cannot achieve fulfillment in their life and the only method to obtain perfection is “Activation of Sixth Sense”.  The energy bestowed by Guru awakens the sixth sense, which guides the disciple to achieve special spiritual sense  and this power of consciousness also assists him in completing the material physical activities.

 

Though Shaktipaat and discourses,  Guru initiates the activation of sixth sense. After awakening of the sixth sense, a person can also support others in their growth thereby earning good reputation, in addition to self-development. Guru’s actions are only for public welfare. The cooperation of disciple is absolutely essential, only then completeness in life is possible.

 

The perfection  in life means serving others, charity, cooperation, dedication and love. The principal sense of perfection is – ever-meditating on supreme power and its ultimate symbol i.e. meditating on Gurudev and serving Gurudev.

 

God has conferred these means to every human being. The basic question is who utilizes these tools properly and who wastes them in vain. As the cycle of time is ever-dynamic, similarly it is important to maintain same dynamism-movement in these tools, otherwise they gradually start to deteriorate. Therefore  it is necessary to obtain physical and spiritual advancement through these tools.

 

Now let us consider how to obtain spiritual growth through the body, wealth and wisdom?

 

Body – Serving through body means putting the body in the service of God, contributing towards spiritual and religious programs in your area, keeping  temple and worship space clean. Escorting the Sadhaks to the venue, and distributing posters, pamphlets, notices and magazine to spread the spiritual knowledge and discourse.

 

Wealth and worldly relationship –  Organizing venue for spiritual discourse, spiritual camp, prayers, monthly worship and group sadhanas, making it available, arranging appropriate funds towards it,  donating to Guru-institute, organize spiritual discourse camp regularly for our organization, inviting your friends-acquaintances, and relatives to the camp. Financial assistance to organizers and volunteers of camp-discourse, i.e. by making posters, pamphlets etc. available at the camp site.

 

Intellect and mind – Each person has some creative and intellectual quality. Utilizing this capability for spiritual tasks, studying and understanding the spiritual scriptures using intelligence, regularly performing sadhanas, and advising others about sadhanas, guiding them as per your wisdom, using your writing style and  knowledge to – write articles for dissemination of Guru-knowledge and expansion of spiritual base. Composing event records for Sadhana camps and submiting articles to local newspapers and magazines.

 

In essence, it can be said that whatever we possess, if we consider it as our Sadhana, and continually dedicate it to Gurudev, then our spiritual growth absolutely occurs. The process of spiritual development involves realization of supreme knowledge through a pure spiritual body, using wealth, wisdom and mind. The spiritual principle states that whatever we possess has been granted by  God and, by offering it to God with full dedication, we can obtain spiritual advancement.

 

In my view, spiritual development is the basis of material advancement in life, and the presence of spirituality never lets fear, distraction or doubt to enter the mind. The person can lead his life carefree with joy.

 

Remember, spirituality is  the basis of your life, regularly contemplate on continuous spiritual and material progress.
