अपनों से अपनी बात…
प्रिय आत्मन्,
आशीर्वाद,
तीन-तीन महापर्व आ रहे हैं, सर्वप्रथम महाशिवरात्रि आ रही है, जो शिव और शक्ति के अभिषेक का पर्व है, इसके पश्चात् जीवन के रंगों का उत्सव होली और होली के पश्चात् आ रही है – नवरात्रि जिससे प्रारम्भ हो रहा है, विक्रम संवत् 2073 (नव संवतसर भारतीय नववर्ष)
तो मेरे प्रिय बन्धुओं इस नववर्ष में आप क्या करने जा रहे है? आप क्या निश्चय कर रहे हैं? आपके संकल्प क्या हैं? आपके विचार क्या हैं? और आप अपने मार्ग पर कैसे अग्रसर होंगे। इन विषयों पर अपने मन में शिवरात्रि, होली, नवरात्रि में विचार कर लेना और संभव हो तो मेरे पास बैठ कर विचार कर लेना। पर विचार अवश्य करना, सब कुछ ऐसे ही चलते नहीं रहने देना है। शुभ की ओर परिवर्तन होना आवश्यक है… और इस बदलाव की शुरूआत आपको स्वयं अपने भीतर करनी है। इसके लिये मेरी कुछ बातों को समझ लो।
सबसे आवश्यक है – दृढ़ संकल्प। संकल्प का अर्थ है, प्रतिज्ञा करना। व्यक्ति के जीवन को नया रूप, आकार, प्रकार देने में संकल्प का सबसे बड़ा योगदान होता है। अगर आप यह जान लें कि आप क्या बनना चाहते हैं तो अपने संकल्प द्वारा अपने जीवन को उसी के अनुरूप बना सकते हैं। आपकी वह इच्छा कुछ भी हो सकती है, आपकी कामना विराट्, विशाल हो सकती है। उसे पूरा करने के लिये सबसे आवश्यक है – गुरु के निर्देशन में संकल्प की पद्धति सीखना, इसीलिये तो गुरु को धारण किया जाता है।
ज्यादातर लोग तूफान में भटकती उस नौका के समान हैं जिसमें न पाल है, न पतवार है, न मांझी है और न तूफान के समय आश्रय देने वाला आधारभूत लंगर ही है। हर व्यक्ति अपने जीवन की उपलब्धियों पर इतना आसक्त है कि उसे स्वयं नहीं मालूम कि – मेरे लिये किस रास्ते पर चलना ठीक रहेगा? कभी-कभी वह सही रास्ता चुनता भी है, परन्तु कुछ समय बाद पुनः अपने ढर्रे पर आ जाता है क्योंकि जो रास्ता उसने चुना था उस पर चलते समय गुरु का कुशल मार्गदर्शन नहीं होने के कारण उसके परिजन उसे भटकाते हैं फलतः वह पुनः उसी रास्ते की और बढ़ने लगता है जो उसकी मंजिल न होते हुए भी उसे इतना लुभावना लगता है कि वह उसे छोड़ नहीं पाता और इसलिये अपने जीवन सागर में हिचकोले खाता रहता है। तो इस स्थिति में क्या उपाय है? क्या करें?
संकल्प… संकल्प… संकल्प….
संकल्प से, उसके लिये स्थिर पथ बन सकता है लेकिन यह तभी संभव है जब मनुष्य इसकी आवश्यकता को समझते हुए गुरु के कुशल निर्देशन में संकल्प का निरन्तर अभ्यास करें।
संकल्प जीवन में कुछ करने का एक दृढ़ निश्चय है, आप सभी अपने जीवन में अनेक इच्छाएं और कल्पनाएं करते हैं पर उनमें से बहुत कम सार्थक हो पाती हैं। जैसे धरती पर छिटके हुए कुछ बीज पौधे बन जाते हैं और कुछ यूं ही मिट्टी में मिल जाते हैं। संकल्प वह बीज है जो व्यक्ति अपने मन में डालता है और मन की क्यारी में ही उसको सिंचता रहता है। यदि मन शांत है तो संकल्प फलदायक होते हैं। जब मानसिक रूप से पूर्ण तैयारी कर संकल्प करते हैं तो वह संकल्प जीवन का मार्गदर्शक बन जाता है।
संकल्प मनुष्य के लिये एक शक्तिशाली यंत्र के समान है। संकल्प का उद्देश्य केवल इच्छापूर्ति नहीं है, अपितु अपने मन को शक्तिशाली बनाना ही संकल्प का श्रेष्ठतम् उपयोग है, इसीलिये संकल्प ही इच्छाशक्ति है और इच्छा शक्ति (थळश्रश्र झेुशी) को साधकर संकल्प को मजबूत किया जाना चाहिए। संकल्प की पूर्ति के लिये श्रद्धा और विश्वास आवश्यक है, यही तो मन के विशिष्ट गुण है। जो श्रद्धा से युक्त होता है वही प्रेम से युक्त होता है और जो प्रेम से युक्त होता है उसके मन में श्रद्धा का भाव गहरे से गहरा होता जाता है।
संकल्प को दृढ़ करने के लिए सबसे सरल उपाय है, केवल और केवल एक काम करो – अपने मन के शुद्धतम श्रद्धा भाव को पहचानों उसे पकड़ो, जाग्रत करो। जो स्वयं पर श्रद्धा रखते हैं, वे ही दूसरों पर भी श्रद्धा रख सकते हैं। संकल्प और आत्मविश्वास से ही श्रद्धा का जन्म होता है। यदि आप स्वयं पर श्रद्धा नहीं रखते हों तो दूसरो पर भी श्रद्धा नहीं रख सकते। यदि आपको स्वयं पर ही विश्वास नहीं है तो आप किसी ओर पर भी कैसे विश्वास कर सकते हैं, इसीलिये गुरु पर विश्वास करने से पहले खुद के भीतर श्रद्धा का भाव और विश्वास के भाव को अंकुरित करना पड़ेगा और मन की भूमि में विचारों की खाद देनी पड़ेगी।
आज आप जो हो और उससे और अधिक श्रेष्ठ बनना चाहते हो अवश्य बनो। इसके लिये केवल और केवल संकल्प की शक्ति का विकास करें, अपने ऊपर विश्वास करें, गुरु पर विश्वास करें और उनके प्रति श्रद्धा को दृढ़ करें। विश्वास में आप अपने मन को समझाने का प्रयत्न करते हो। दूसरों के उदाहरण लेने की कोशिश करते हो, लेकिन श्रद्धा, विश्वास से पूर्णतः ऊपर होती है। इसमें किसी अगर-मगर का कोई स्थान नहीं होता है। जब श्रद्धा का सूर्य उदय होता है तो फिर संकल्प, विश्वास बहुत नीचे रह जाते हैं चारों ओर श्रद्धा ही श्रद्धा व्याप्त हो जाती है।
एक दर्शनिक ने लिखा है कि – यदि आपकी श्रद्धा भय से उत्पन्न हुई है तो वह नकली है, उससे अच्छा तो आप श्रद्धा का भाव अपने अन्दर लाओ ही मत। भय और श्रद्धा पूरी तरह से एक दूसरे के विपरीत हैं। श्रद्धा तो प्रेम से जन्मती है, प्रेम से उपजती है और प्रेम से ही फलती-फूलती है। श्रद्धा के पूर्ण विस्तार के लिये अपने अतीत के बोझिल भाव को, कूड़े-करकट के भाव को साफ करना पड़ेगा।
श्रद्धा कहां आधारित होती है? श्रद्धा केवल और केवल मानसिक ईमानदारी के भाव पर स्थिर रहती है। उसे किसी के सहारे की, किसी के कहने की, किसी के समझाने की आवश्यकता ही नहीं है। वह तो शिव की भांति सत्य है, वह तो शिव की भांति सुन्दर है उसे किसी भी प्रकार के आवरण की आवश्यकता नहीं है।
अपनी-अपनी श्रद्धा को पूजो, वही श्रेष्ठतम् पूजा है। अपनी-अपनी श्रद्धा को अपने भीतर अनुभव करते रहो, वही सबसे बड़ी मानसिक शक्ति और शांति प्रदान करेगी। दो ही तो बातें जीवन में आवश्यक हैं। शक्ति और शांति। और ये दोनों तत्व केवल और केवल श्रद्धा से प्राप्त हो सकते हैं और जहां श्रद्धा है वहां पूर्ण शिव है, भोलापन है। वहां शक्ति का साकार, निराकार रूप है।
आप सभी का विशेष निर्माण कार्य दिल्ली आरोग्यधाम में सुचारू रूप से चल रहा है। इस कारण शिविरों की संख्या कम हो गई है। अब आप पर यह विशेष जिम्मेदारी है कि आप अपने-अपने स्थान पर नियमित सामूहिक गुरु-पूजन, सामूहिक साधना, सामूहिक उत्सव सम्पन्न करते रहे। इन आयोजनों की जानकारी मुझे र्पाीं.र्र्सीीीक्षळऽसारळश्र.लेा पर भेजते रहे। आयोजनों के चित्र, विडियो एवं विवरण के साथ-साथ भाग लेने वाले कार्यकर्त्ताओं के नाम भी भेजे। आपके ऐसे श्रेष्ठ कार्यों का विवरण आपकी इस पत्रिका में प्रकाशित करने में मुझे खुशी होगी। नवसंवत्सर की सुंदर वासंतीय बेला में यही मेरा आशीर्वाद है।

Three major festival Mahaparvs are fast approaching, first MahaShivaratri is coming, which is the celebration of the consecration of Shiva and Shakti, thereafter Holi, the festival of colors of life, and after Holi – Navraatri, with which the new Vikram Samvat 2073 is getting started (the New Samvatsar Indian New Year)
So my dear brothers and sisters, what are you going to do in this New Year? What are your plans? What are your resolutions? What are your thoughts? And how will you proceed on your path. Think deeply about these topics in your mind during Shivraatri, Holi and Navraatri, and if possible consider them by sitting near me. But do think and ponder, do not let it all continue as it is. It is important to make changes towards goodness… and you have to start this change within your own mind. To achieve this, try to understand some of my advice.
The most important is – Strong Determination. Resolution means taking a pledge. The resolution is the biggest contributor towards providing a new form, a new shape, or a new type to a person’s life. If you comprehend what you wish to become, then you can modify yourself towards that form with the assistance of determination. Your wish might be anything, your desires might be very big or enormous. The most important requirement to accomplish these wishes is – to learn the process of resolution under Guru’s guidance, we become a disciple of Guru just for this.
Most of the people are like a boat thrashing about in storms, a boat which has no sail, no rudder, no coxswain and certainly no firm anchor to hold the boat firm during the storm. Every person is so immersed in the accomplishments of his life that he himself does not know – which path will be good for him to proceed ahead? Sometimes he manages to choose the right path, but falls down to his usual way a bit later because his family confuses him in the absence of able guidance of Guru, therefore he again starts moving on the same old track, it captivates him inspite of no clear destinations on this path, he is unable to leave it, and so he keeps tossing around in this ocean of life. So how to get out of this vicious circle? What to do?
… … Determination Determination Determination ….
A stable firm path can be created for him through determination, but this is only possible when a person continuously practices the resolution skill under able guidance of Guru, while understanding its importance.
The resolution is a firm determination to do something in life, you wish and desire for many things in your life but you are able to realize only a few of them. Like only some of the seeds grown on field sprout into plants, and the rest wither away in the soil. The resolution is that seed which a person implants in his mind, and keeps on watering it in his mind and heart. The resolutions achieve fruit only when the mind is at peace. When we make a resolution after full mental preparation, then that resolution becomes the guiding force of the life.
The resolution is a very powerful instrument for the humans. The purpose of the resolution is not only to fulfil desires, rather the best usage of resolution is to enhance the power of the mind, therefore the determination is akin to will-power and the resolution should be strengthened by practising control of will-power. Faith and Trust are essential to the fulfilment of the resolution, these are the significant qualities of the mind. One who has faith, will be full of love, and the faith enhances deeply in the mind of a person full of love.
The simplest method to strengthen the resolution, do only one thing – comprehend the purest emotion of faith in your mind, catch it, and energise it. Those who have faith in themselves, can also have faith on others. The faith germinates out of determination and confidence. If you do not have trust in yourself, then how will you develop trust on others, therefore first you will have to grow the emotions of faith and trust within your own mind, before developing trust in Guru, and you will have to fertilize your own mind with thoughts.
Whatever you are today, and whatever you desire to become best in, go ahead and become. You only need to develop the power of determination within yourself, trust yourself, trust Guru, and strengthen your faith towards Him. You try to convince your mind while developing trust. You try to copy the examples from others, but the faith is at a much higher level than trust. It does not have any space for any ifs or buts. When the sun of faith rises, then the resolution and trust become meaningless, the faith develops all around you.
A philosopher has written – if your faith is derived from fear, then it is fake, in such a case it is much better not to develop any faith at all. The fear and faith are completely opposite to each other. Faith is born out of love, it grows from love and thrives only in an atmosphere of love. To completely develop faith, you will have to clean out the burden of past experiences from your mind, you will have to remove the litter of cumbersome expressions from your mind.
What is the base of faith? The faith is stable only in the environment of mental integrity and honesty. It does not require any support from anyone, it does not require any convincing or any explanation from anyone else. It is a divine truth like Lord Shiva, it is beautiful like Lord Shiva, it does not require any adornment like Lord Shiva.
Pray your own faith, this is the rightest prayer. Continue to experience your faith within yourself, it will provide the greatest mental strength and peace. Only two things are essential in life. Strength and peace. And both of these elements can only be derived from faith. And where there is faith, there is complete Shiva, the pure innocence. The power resides in such a place, both in form and formless existence.
The significant construction of your Delhi Arogyadham is proceeding smoothly. This has reduced the number of Sadhana camps. Now you have a special responsibility to organize and perform collective Guru-worship, collective Sadhana and collective meditations regularly in your area.
