अपनों से अपनी बात – April 2016
Dialog with Loved Ones …
Dear Loved One,
Both you and I share a deep relationship, and therefore, you completely share your mental thoughts with me, and I too share my mental thoughts with you. This mutual exchange of ideas among ourselves deepens and intensifies our relationship. As you get connected within with your Guru, merge your-self with Divine; similarly I too blend into your consciousness. This mutual union is our greatest asset and no-one can either snatch or weaken this divine heritage. This wealth of mutual connection is steadily continuously growing…, this growth will never terminate ….
It was in February month, a novel thought entered my mind to visit Somnath. I had been thinking about it for many years, and when this desire got strengthened, I realized .. nothing can stop it now, the shackles of home cannot bind your Guru now. The idea germinated in my mind, and within two hours I left Jodhpur to convert the thought into action. How distant is Somnath from Jodhpur? 900 Km… I told the driver and the journey started. There is a saying – “Only a wandering hermit and flowing water make sense”, and when a thought seeds in, it should be accomplished. The journey continued for 15 hours, and we rested only after reaching Somnath; when you travel with a favourable mind, then you don’t feel any tiredness. When one has to complete a task forcibly, then the person gets exhausted within some time, and gets strained from worries. However, when we work full-heartedly, when our mind is free, then we do not get any kind of fatigue.
I had to go to Baidyanath Dham next month, it was an inspiration from Lord SadaShiv, the Lord of Som i.e. Amrit-Divine-Nectar, whose abode is in Prabhas Patan within the Somnath Jyotirling form; I performed the Abhishek anointment-consecration rites. Anyone can question the need for so much pilgrimage in a month… In any case nothing is necessary in life, whatever you do, whatever gives you joy, only that is most essential in life. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Somnath, lived like a simple pilgrim for two days, spent two days at the beach with Shiva-sensation thoughts…
I witnessed the magnificent form of Lord Shiva “Somnath Shivling” and accomplished Rudrabhishek. Special Abhishek consecration is performed at Somnath daily from 11 am to 12 pm. I performed the Abhishek with great joy and only one thought kept entering my mind that, may similar showers of joy keep occurring in the lives of all my disciples. May the Divine nectar of milk, yogurt, sugar, honey and butter keep flowing in their lives. Whenever I visit any holy shrine, I repeat the same words again and again – Whatever my disciples wish for, that itself is my wish … Fulfilment of their wishes is fulfilment of my wishes…
There is a spot outside in the arena of Somnath temple, where Lord Krishna got hit by an arrow and from where He departed to Golok Dham. A thought came into the mind – to visit that holy site of Lord Krishna… where Lord Krishna spent many years… made it His abode… controlled His kingdom… lived with Rukmani and Satyabhama… and I should definitely visit that location.
When Lord Krishna invokes, then nobody in this world can stop it, and I immediately started for Dwarka from Somnath. I did not need to take any leave from any office. I stayed in Dwarka for two days, sat at the spot where Shree Krishna used to hold His court, and I visited the rendezvous site of Sudama and Shree Krishna. I also visited the island containing the palace of Lord Shree Krishna. This spot “Bhet Dwarka” is a separate island in the sea, away from the continental-landmass, it is a very beautiful spot. I stayed there from morning till evening. While returning, a thought came to visit the Nageshwar form of Lord Shiva, and I accomplished the Abhishek of “Darukavan Nagesh” at Nageshwar Jyotirling. No hurry or rush in mind, with complete calm and peace in mind.
Everyone person should travel… the travel reflects different aspects of life. We meet new people, and we get a lot of experience. A special point is that when Guru and God commands, a person cannot stop his steps. Think, ponder… Why do you visit the Sadhana camps? And why do I visit you in Sadhana camps? When you invoke me from your mind then I am unable to stop myself, and when I call you, you also rush to Delhi, Jodhpur. There is no need to verbally communicate through words. This entire process gets accomplished through thoughts.
Many people must be questioning you – What joy do you get from visiting your Guru? What joy do you obtain in Sadhana camp? You can sing bhajans hymns at home, you can chant mantras at home, then what is the need to travel such a long distance to meet Guru? Those people cannot comprehend your thoughts. This emotional sense enlivens the disciple and Guru. We are conscious awakened, so our life has desires, a keen zeal, an impulse to meet; and this grants joy to the mind. In reality the consecration Abhishek of mind is possible only after meeting the Guru.
When we visit a holy place, a pious shrine, a sacred spot or a divine personage, touch Them, then what do we achieve? We obtain the energetic power of enthusiasm and motivation. We cannot get this energetic enthusiasm and motivation by sitting at home. This process of enthusiasm and motivation is possible only though the union. This world keeps on destroying your enthusiastic energy, whereas Guru is constantly engaged in incrementing your enthusiastic energy. This is the reality of worship and consecration.
When you meet your Guru, then a divine process initiates, and this process calms your impulse and instinct excitement, and when this impulse quietens down, then you start feeling your energy, starts to realize your inner energy, and most importantly, start believing in yourself.
The Divine union of you and me is for you to believe in yourself, for you to start realizing your own energy, and this divine union will continue to repeat again and again ….
Best wishes to all of you on Holi festival, the new Sanvatsar year is starting from Cheitra Navraatri (8 April 2016), you have to work in this new year with fresh zeal and enthusiasm, and you have to achieve your desired goals.
