अपनों से अपनी बात…

 

प्रिय आत्मन्,
शुभाशीर्वाद,

 

हर हर महादेव, बम-बम बोल…, ॐ नमः शिवाय, ॐ नमः शिवाय के चैतन्य नाद के साथ प्रयाग राज इलाहबाद में आप सभी ने महाशिवरात्रि का अभिषेक सम्पन्न किया। जब-जब जीवन में सौभाग्य के क्षण आते हैं तब-तब ही ऐसी महान् घटनाएं सम्पन्न हो पाती हैं। प्रयाग राज तो गंगा-यमुना-सरस्वती की संगम भूमि है। इस भूमि का कण-कण ॠषियों की वाणी से निरन्तर गुंजारित हुआ है। मैं गंगा, यमुना, सरस्वती को केवल नदियां नहीं मानता हूं ये केवल जल धाराएं नहीं हैं, ये तो ज्ञान धाराएं हैं। गंगा भी हिमालय से निकलती है, यमुना भी हिमालय से निकलती है। गंगा आध्यात्मिक भाव भूमि, आध्यात्मिक चेतना का स्वरूप हैं तो यमुना कृष्ण की प्यारी और नटखट (हमारे भौतिक) स्वरूप की भाव भूमि हैं। इन दोनों भाव भूमियों को मिलाने वाली पवित्र धारा है – सरस्वती। सरस्वती एक जलधारा अथवा नदी नहीं है यह तो ज्ञान भाव की धारा है, अन्तर्मन का स्वरूप है। जहां गंगा, यमुना और सरस्वती का मिलन होता है वह संगम कहलाता है। मेरे विचार से जहां आध्यात्मिक भाव का भौतिक भाव के साथ मिलन होता है और जब ये मिलन ज्ञान के द्वारा होता है तो वह स्थिति जीवन का संगम कहलाती है। सरस्वती गुप्त हैं, वह भी हिमालय से ही निकलती है, कभी दिखाई देती है, कभी दिखाई नहीं देती लेकिन वही सरस्वती अपने प्रयास से गंगा और यमुना का मिलन कराती है।

 

इसका सीधा सा अर्थ है कि ज्ञान के द्वारा, सरस्वती के द्वारा ही जीवन के दो अलग-अलग भाव आध्यात्मिक भाव और भौतिक भावों का सहज मिलन करा सकते हैं। सरस्वती अर्थात् ज्ञान ही वह भाव है जो आण्डम्बर, दिखावे और तेज प्रवाह से रहित है लेकिन उसका प्रभाव पूरे मानस पर पड़ता है। पूरे मानस को एक सूत्र में ढालने का काम, एक सूत्र में पिरोने का काम ज्ञान के द्वारा ही संभव है।

 

प्रयाग में अभिषेक से पहले वहां के पण्डितों ने मुझसे कहा कि हम मंच पर अभिषेक कर देते हैं, एक-दो साधक प्रतीक रूप में मंच पर बैठ जायेंगे और यह अभिषेक का कार्यक्रम निपटा देंगे। मैंने कहा कि – हम सब सामूहिक रूप से शिव का अभिषेक करेंगे और साथ ही प्रत्येक साधक स्वयं भी अपने सामने शिवलिंग स्थापित कर उसका अभिषेक करेगा, मेरे सामने पांच हजार साधक बैठे हैं, ये दर्शक नहीं हैं, ये साधक हैं, शिष्य हैं और इनमें से प्रत्येक साधक-शिष्य अभिषेक की इच्छा से ही यहां प्रयाग में आया है और ये सभी लोग संकल्प, न्यास, गुरु पूजन, गणपति पूजन, भैरव पूजन, नवग्रह पूजन और अभिषेक की विधि को भली भांति जानते हैं।
यह जानकर उनके आश्‍चर्य का ठिकाना नहीं रहा लेकिन जब हजारों साधकों ने समवेत स्वर में पूजन और अभिषेक प्रारम्भ किया तो ऐसा श्रेष्ठ वातावरण बन गया, मानो पांच हजार ॠषि अभिषेक कर रहे हों। 
इस शिवरात्रि में जो अभिषेक सम्पन्न हुआ वह अवर्णनीय है। शब्दों में इसकी व्याख्या संभव ही नहीं है। मेरा तो यही कहना है कि अमृत क्या होता है और उसका स्वाद कैसा होता है? उसे वही जान सकता है जिसने अमृत का पान किया है। साधना क्या होती है, अभिषेक क्या होता है और अभिषेक में क्या आनन्द आता है इसे वही जान सकता है जो स्वयं यह सब क्रिया सम्पन्न करता हो। मेरा विचार है कि प्रत्येक साधक को, प्रत्येक साधिका को महिने में एक बार तो शिव अभिषेक अवश्य ही सम्पन्न करना चाहिए।

 

अभिषेक की क्रिया किस लिये की जाती है? अभिषेक केवल जलधार, भगवान शिव पर अर्पण करने की क्रिया को ही नहीं कहते। अभिषेक का तात्पर्य है, अपने आपको आत्मलीन कर देना। अपने भीतर अमृत के प्रवाह को जाग्रत कर देना। अपने आप में आनन्दमग्न हो जाना। अपने भीतर की गंगा, यमुना, सरस्वती अर्थात् भीतर की तीन धारा, ईड़ा, पिंगला और सुषम्ना को चैतन्य कर देना। 

 

ईड़ा, पिंगला और सुषम्ना केवल तीन आध्यात्मिक नाम नहीं हैं। ये तीनों भौतिक जीवन, आध्यात्मिक जीवन और ज्ञान जीवन के भाव हैं। मेरे पास एक माता-पिता आए और कहा कि गुरु जी आप हमें आशीर्वाद दो, हमारा बेटा जो कि यह 23 साल का हो चुका है, हम इसकी शादी करना चाहते हैं। मैंने कहा कि जरूर होगी, फिर मैंने उनके पुत्र को भी बुलाया और कहा कि तुम्हारा क्या विचार है? वह युवक थोड़ा शर्माया और बोला कि मैं चाहता हूं कि अभी थोड़ी और शिक्षा प्राप्त कर लूं। स्वयं अपने पैरों पर खड़ा हो जाऊं और जब मुझे स्वयं को लगे कि मैं समर्थ हूं तो मैं गृहस्थ जीवन में प्रवेश करूं। मैंने उसके माता-पिता को कहा कि – अपने लड़के की बात को समझो, यह जो कह रहा है इसका भाव बड़ा ही गहरा है। यह अपने ज्ञान द्वारा अपने सामर्थ्य का विकास करना चाहता है। इसे अपनी सोच के अनुसार जीवन में आगे बढ़ने दो।

 

उसके मां-बाप ने कहा कि – गुरु जी लोग क्या कहेंगे?

 

मैंने कहा कि – ‘संसार में सारी बाधाओं की जड़, केवल और केवल एक ही बात है और वह है कि – लोग क्या कहेंगे।’ तुम अपने बेटे की बात दरकिनार कर रहे हो और लोगों की बात को तवज्जो दे रहे हो।
दूसरे क्या कहेंगे उसके पहले यह विचार करो कि आप स्वयं खुद को क्या कहते हो? आप स्वयं अपना आदेश मानना चाहते हो या दूसरों का आदेश मानना चाहते हो। स्वयं की बात सुनना, एक महान् कार्य है। जीवन की आधी समस्याएं तो केवल और केवल इसी बात से समाप्त हो जाती हैं जब हम लोग क्या कहेंगे के स्थान पर हमें क्या ठीक लग रहा है, हमारे लिए क्या ठीक है वो करने लग जाएं। हर स्थिति में स्वयं की बात सुनना आवश्यक है। 
जीवन की महानता और जीवन की श्रेष्ठता क्या है? जीवन की महानता लक्ष्य प्राप्ति अवश्य है लेकिन उससे भी महान् बात है पल-पल जीवन का आनन्द आना चाहिए और यह आनन्द कब आयेगा? जब आप में संयम, श्रद्धा, आत्मविश्‍वास, प्रेम, निष्ठा और समर्पण होगा और इसकी शुुरुआत अपने आप से करनी है। अपने आपको ये सारे पाठ पढ़ाने हैं। अपने शरीर, अपने मन, अपनी भावना के प्रति संयम, श्रद्धा, विश्‍वास, प्रेम, निष्ठा और समर्पण होगा तो अपने आप जीवन का लक्ष्य प्राप्त हो जायेगा। तब सुख और दुःख आपको अति प्रभावित नहीं करेंगे। यही तो शिवत्व का भाव है।

 

हमारा सबसे प्रिय दिवस ‘21 अप्रैल, निखिल जयंती’ आ रहा है। इस निखिल पर्व को बड़े ही धूमधाम से अपने गांव, अपने कस्बे, अपने शहर में सम्पन्न करना है। जितने अधिक साधकों के साथ आप यह कार्यक्रम सम्पन्न करेंगें, उतना ही ज्यादा आनन्द आयेगा।
सद्गुरु निखिल आपकी यादों, स्मृतियों और हृदय की गहराइयों में सदैव आपके साथ हैं, वे आपके हृदय के अधिष्ठाता हैं उन सद्गुरु को अपने रोम-रोम में स्थापित कर दो। गुरु आपके भीतर हैं वे हर क्षण आपका ध्यान रखते हैं आपको निर्देश देते रहते हैं, आवश्यकता है सदगुरु के निर्देशों को चाहे वे वाचिक हों या मूक अथवा अलंकारिक उनके निर्देशों को समझने की और उसी के अनुसार लक्ष्य की ओर दिन दूनी रात चौगुनी गति से आगे बढ़ते रहने की। सद्गुरु आपके भीतर अमृत प्रवाह निर्बाध गति से प्रवाहित करते रहते हैं। सद्गुरु को नमन है जिन्होंने हमारे जीवन को नया आधार, नया आयाम, नये विचार, नये भाव प्रदान किये।
सद्गुरु ने जो कार्य मुझे सौंपे हैं, उन कार्यों को पूर्ण करने हेतु मैं निरन्तर कार्य करता हूं, उनके विराट् कार्यों को पूरा करने के लिए मुझे हजारों शिष्यों का सहयोग अवश्य ही चाहिये। मैं उसी विराट यात्रा के मार्ग पर आगे बढ़ रहा हूं, आपका तन-मन-धन से सहयोग आवश्यक है। आप सभी गुरु चेतना के ध्वजवाहक है और आपको अपने पूर्ण सामर्थ्य से मेरे साथ कार्य करना है।

 

गुरु का अमृत वचन है कि जीवन में निरन्तर तप, साधना एवं ध्यान आवश्यक है। अपना ध्यान रखें, अपने मन को साध कर रखें और अपने शरीर को पूर्ण रूप से तप के द्वारा, परिश्रम के द्वारा स्वस्थ रखें। साधना पथ पर निरन्तर आगे बढ़ते रहें।
विश्‍वास है कि पटना में 21 अप्रैल के शुभ अवसर पर हम सब मिलेंगे और विशाल रूप से आयोजन सम्पन्न करेंगे।

Har Har Mahadev, Bam-Bam Bol… Om Namah Shivaye, Om Namah Shivaye ,

With these Divine notes you accomplished the MahaShivraatri Abhishek at Prayag Raaj Allahabad. Only when the fortune smiles, then such major events do occur. Prayag Raaj is the Sangam of Ganga-Yamuna-Saraswati. Each sand particle of this divine land has resonated with the vibrations of sages. I do not consider Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati as mere rivers, these are not just water streams, these are rivers of knowledge. Ganga originates from the Himalayas, and the Yamuna also originates from the Himalayas. Ganga is the manifestation of spiritual platform and energy, while Yamuna is a form of a lovely naughty (material) form of Lord Krishna. The holy stream bonding both these divine forms is – Saraswati. Saraswati is not a river stream or a river, rather it is the fountain of knowledge, a manifestation of the inner – mind. The point where Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati unite, is called as Sangam. I believe that when spiritual form merges with material form, and when this merger occurs through knowledge, then that situation is called Sangam. Saraswati stays hidden, she also originates from the Himalayas, sometimes she is visible and sometimes not, but the same Saraswati gets Ganga and Yamuna to merge through her efforts.

 

This simply means that through knowledge, through Saraswati, we can perform a simple merger of two different life’s aspects – both spiritual and material. Saraswati or knowledge is the aspect which is completely aloof from pretense or artifice, but it casts its influence on the complete mind.  It is possible to join the entire mind in one thought, wrap in one process, only through knowledge.

 

The Pandits of Prayaag told me before the abhishek that they will perform the abhishek on the stage, a couple of sadhaks will sit on the stage as a symbolic act and thus they will accomplish the abhishek. I replied that – “All of us will collectively perform Lord Shiva’s abhishek and each sadhak will install a Shivling in front of him and perform the abhishek. Five thousand Sadhaks are sitting here, there are not mere spectators, these are sadhaks, dissciples and every one of these sadhaks has come to Prayaag with a wish to perform abhishek, and all of them fully know and understand the process of Sankalp, Nyaas, Guru poojan, Ganpati poojan, Bheirav poojan, Navgrah poojan and Abhishek.”

 

They could not believe their ears, but when thousands of sadhaks collectively started poojan and abhishek with  full harmony, then such a sacred divine atmosphere got created  as if five thousand sages were performing abhishek.

 

The abhishek performed during this Shivraatri, is completely enigmatic. It is simply not possible to explain it in plain words. I only state that only one who has tasted nectar can understand what is nectar and what is its taste. What is Sadhana, what is Abhishek, and what joy abhishek provides, only one who has performed this process, can comprehend. I believe that each Sadhak, each Sadhika should perform Shiv Abhishek at least once in a month.

 

Why do we accomplish Abhishek? Abhishek is not simply offering a water-stream on Lord Shiva. Abhishek signifies- complete assimilation of self. Activation of the flow of Amrit within self. Absorbing within inner joy. Energization of our inner Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati i.e. the three streams of Ida, Pingla and Sukshumna.

 

Ida, Pingla and Sukshumna are not just three spiritual entities. These three are the material, spiritual and knowledge expressions of life. A couple came to me and requested for blessings stating that they wish to perform the marriage of their son aged 23 years. I said, sure, he will get married. Then I called their son and asked for his opinion. He got a little embarrassed and replied that – “I want to study a little further. I wish to get good employment and marry after  I feel fully capable.” I advised the parents that  – “ You should understand the views of your son. He is stating deep wisdom with firm conviction. He wishes to enhance his potential through his knowledge. Let him progress ahead in his life with his own perspective.”

 

His parents replied – “Guruji, what will people say?”

 

I stated that the root cause of all problems in the world, the one and only one root cause is – What will people say? You are ignoring your son’s wishes and fulfilling other’s expectations.

 

What will others say, before that you should ponder over what you yourself want? You wish to follow your own orders or follow orders of others. To listen to self, is a great act in itself. Half of the problems of life end only and only when we consider what feels suitable, instead of what will people say. We start doing what makes sense for us. It is mandatory for us to listen to ourselves in every situation.

 

What are the superiority and greatness of life? The greatness of life is certainly achieving the goals, but a better course is to obtain joy in each moment of life. When will this joy come? When you show restraint, faith, confidence, love, loyalty and dedication; and you have to start with yourself. You need to teach all these lessons to yourself. If you have restraint, faith, confidence, love, loyalty and dedication  towards your body, your mind and your feelings, then you will achieve the goal of life automatically. Then the pleasures and pains will not affect you. This is the basis of Shivtatva.

 

Our favorite festival ‘21 April Nikhil Jayanti’ is soon arriving. You should celebrate this Nikhil festival with great fanfare in your village, your town, and your city is rich. The more Sadhaks are involved with you to organize this program, the more joy you will attain.

 

Sadguru Nikhil is always with you in the depth of your memories, reminiscences and heart, He is the God of your heart, imbibe Him in each atom of self. The Guru is within yourself, He protects you every moment, and constantly guides you, it is important for you to understand and comprehend all those directions, even if they are vocal or silent; and you should progress ahead towards your goals through His directions. Sadguru continually flows the fountain of nectar within you at smooth pace. I salute Sadguru that He provided a novel base, new dimension, fresh direction, innovative ideas and original expressions to our life.

I have always been engrossed in accomplishing various tasks which Sadgurudev has assigned me, and I do require the assistance of thousands of disciples to complete those gigantic tasks. I am moving ahead on this magnificent path, and I need your support in body-mind-money. All of you are the flag bearers of the Guru Chetna and you have to work with me with your full potential and capacity.

 

Gurudev’s immortal directions are that tenacity, Sadhana and meditation are an important part of life. Take care of yourself, focus your mind, and keep your body healthy through hard work and diligence. Continue on the Sadhana path.

 

I am confident that we will meet in Patna on the grand occasion of April 21 and will organize a major event.
