अपनों से अपनी बात…

प्रिय आत्मन्,
आशीर्वाद,

 

हर दिन एक नया दिन है, पर जब तुम और मैं पास-पास बैठते हैं, बात करते हैं, एक-दूसरे को देखते हैं तो ऊर्जा, ऊष्मा, चेतना अपने आप ही उत्पन्न हो जाती है। जैसे चकमक के दो पत्थरों की रगड़ अग्नि को, चिन्गारी को प्रकट कर देती है, वही चिन्गारी अग्नि बनकर व्याप्त हो जाती है। यही हमारे मिलन का स्वरूप है। हमारी यात्रा तो बड़ी ही सरल है, ऊर्जा, ऊष्मा, तेज और ओज की यह यात्रा। मेरा आशीर्वाद है कि तुम उगते हुए सूर्य के समान तेजस्वी बनो। जिस सूर्य में ऊर्जा भी है, प्रकाश भी है, शीतलता भी है और नवीनता भी है, एक अद्भुत लालिमा भी है।

 

यह लालिमा अवश्य आएगी, बस शरीर के साथ मन भी इतना ही तरोताजा हो जाए तो आनन्द सौ गुना बढ़ जाएगा। गुरु-शिष्य मिलन मन को आनन्दित करने की ही क्रिया है। सही अर्थों में आनन्द ही जीवन है, बहुत कर ली तुमने अंधकार की यात्रा, यह माना कि अंधकार भी जीवन का हिस्सा है। यह बात सही है कि – हर एक के जीवन में कुछ काल के लिये, कुछ अन्तराल में अंधकार अवश्य आता है, पर यह भी तो सत्य है कि – अंधकार के बिना प्रकाश का आनन्द नहीं आता और अंधकार में बार-बार मन घबराता है, चिन्ता होती है, विकल-बैचेन मन बड़े ही हाथ-पैर मारता है, फिर दिशाहीन सा होकर संज्ञा शून्य हो जाता है। कभी निराश होता है, कभी हताश होता है और कहीं मन के एक कोने में आस होती है कि – सूर्य निकलेगा, सूर्योदय होगा, आशा का सूर्य हमारे जीवन को अवश्य प्रकाशित करेगा। सोचो अंधकार क्या लाता है? वह तो हताशा-निराशा , कायरता ही लाता है। पर इतना कायर तो तुम्हारा मन नहीं है क्योंकि तुम निखिल शिष्य हो।

 

यह अंधकार बड़ा ही घना है और तुम इस अंधकार से निकलने में विलम्ब कर रहे हो इसलिये यह अंधकार और लम्बा होता जा रहा है। जीवन की एक महती क्रिया है – जिसे तुम भूल गये हो। तुम अपनी उस ताकत को भूल गये हो और वह क्रिया है – छोड़ने की। वह क्रिया है – जमाने को लात मारने की, जैसा कि सद्गुरुदेव निखिल कहते थे कि समाज की बेड़ियों को तोड़कर समाज के बंधनों को लात मारकर एक लम्बी छलांग लगाओ। बस छोड़ने की आदत नहीं बन पाई है तुम्हारी। चीजों को, स्थानों को, सम्बन्धों को पकड़-पकड़ कर रखते हो और फिर चीजें, स्थान, सम्बन्ध हावी होकर तुम्हें फिर उसी अंधकार में धकेल देते हैं। हाथ भी खुले नहीं हैं और मन भी इन्हीं बंधनों से बंध गया है। अंधकार गहराता जा रहा है।

 

यह छोड़ना, बड़ी ही ताकत का काम है। जो छोड़ नहीं सकता वह पकड़ेगा भी कैसे? पुराने को छोड़कर नवीनता को ग्रहण करना, बड़ी ही हिम्मत का काम है। पर यह काम तुम्हें करना ही पड़ेगा। कब तक जकड़े रहोगे, बंधनों में बंधे रहोगे?

 

हो गई है पीर पर्वत-सी पिघलनी चाहिए,
इस हिमालय से कोई गंगा निकलनी चाहिए।
मेरे सीने में नहीं तो तेरे सीने में सही,
हो कहीं भी आग, लेकिन आग जलनी चाहिए।

 

तुम और मैं तो आत्मीय हैं, मेरे आत्मन् हो। तुम मुझसे अलग नहीं, मैं तुमसे अलग नहीं। हम एक दूसरे की आत्मा के निकट हैं। हम दोनों का अमृत आपस में मिलने को उत्सुक है तो उस अमृत प्रवाह को रोको मत। कहीं न कहीं तो अपने आप से ही सवाल-जवाब कर कुछ उत्तर पाना ही पड़ेगा।

 

मन उसी अंधकार में परतंत्र हुआ डूबा रहता है। बस उसमें, उस मन में मंथन करना है। उपद्रव की क्रिया करनी है, जिससे निराशाओं के बंधन टूटें और आशा का अमृतघट खुल जाए। तुम्हारा शरीर ही नहीं मन भी तरोताजा हो जाए। उस मन को आनन्द अपने में ही आने लग जाएगा। तब जानना कि तुम सही दिशा में बढ़ रहे हो।

 

भरपेट भोजन किया, खूब सोए, कुछ चीजों का संग्रह भी कर लिया, कुछ पकड़ के भी रख लिया लेकिन मन को आनन्द ही नहीं आया तो क्या तुम्हारा प्रयत्न सार्थक होगा?

 

मैं नहीं चाहता कि तुम एक बंधी बंधाई लीक पर चलते रहो, अपने जीवन में समझौते करते रहो, अपमान का विष पीते रहो। मैं तो तुम्हारा तुमसे ही परिचय कराने के लिये, आत्म परिचय कराने के लिये तुम्हारा आत्मीय बना हूं, और तुम्हें भी अपना आत्मीय बनाया है। जब हम आपस में जुड़ ही गए हैं तो फिर क्यों न हम दोनों आत्मीय अमृत पथ की यात्रा करें। एक सुन्दर भाव पूर्ण कविता याद आ रही है –

 

एक भी आंसू न कर बेकार
जाने कब समंदर मांगने आ जाए!
पास प्यासे के कुआं आता नहीं है, यह कहावत है, अमरवाणी नहीं है,
और जिस के पास देने को न कुछ भी एक भी ऐसा यहां प्राणी नहीं है,
कर स्वयं हर गीत का श्रृंगार
जाने देवता को कौनसा भा जाय!
चोट खाकर टूटते हैं सिर्फ दर्पण, किन्तु आकृतियां कभी टूटी नहीं हैं,
आदमी से रूठ जाता है सभी कुछ, पर समस्यायें कभी रूठी नहीं हैं,
हर छलकते अश्रु को कर प्यार –
जाने आत्मा को कौन सा नहला जाय!
व्यर्थ है करना खुशामद रास्तों की, काम अपने पांव ही आते सफर में,
वह न ईश्वर के उठाए भी उठेगा-जो स्वयं गिर जाय अपनी ही नज़र में,
हर लहर का कर प्रणय स्वीकार –
जाने कौन तट के पास पहुंचा जाए!

 

तुमने अपने मन से, अपनी आत्मा से जो वायदा किया है उस आवाज को सुनो। वह तुम्हारे गुरु की आवाज है, यह तुम्हारे जीवन का ब्रह्मनाद है, अपने मन की आवाज गुरु के ब्रह्मनाद से जोड़ दो और तुम लहराते हुए ऊर्जा के साथ, अपनी अग्नि को प्रज्वलित कर दो, मैं हर समय तुम्हारे मन के साथ हूं।

Dear Loved One

Divine Blessings,

 

Every dawn heralds a new day. However when both of us sit next to each other, then the simple fact of talking-gazing each other, itself stimulates energy, power and consciousness. Mere rubbing of two pieces of flint generates a spark, which spreads out as fire flame. Our intermingling results in a similar process. Our journey together is very simple,  and is full of energy, power, intensity and warmth.  I bless you to be as  bright as the rising sun. Become the sun where energy and light co-exists with freshness and innovation, resulting in wonderful brilliance.

This brilliance will certainly imbibe into your own self. The mind should get deeply refreshed thereby multiplying the joy. The union of Guru-disciple is the process to rejoice the mind. This joy is the real fact of life in the right sense. You have completed enough journey through darkness. Darkness is also a part of life, and some shades of darkness certainly come into everyone’s life for some period of time. However, the truth is that we cannot relish the joy of light in the absence of darkness. Darkness repeatedly scares the mind and engulfs it within the whirlpool of anxious worries. The worried mind tries everything to escape this cesspool, and finally retreats away directionless. It gets frustrated with desperation. However, a tiny hope of a superior future, a bright sunshine still flickers away in a remote corner of the mind. The darkness always confers frustration, despair, misery and fear.  However, you are a disciple of Guru Nikhil and your mind cannot be so timid.

This darkness is gigantically vast. You are wasting time and your delay in getting out of this darkness, is making it worse transcending you deeper in gloom. You have forgotten an important aspect of life. You have forgotten your strength of detachment-severance, of letting it go away. This is the process to kick away the bondages. SadGurudev Nikhil used to always advice to make a long jump by cutting away the shackles of the society. You have not been able to assimilate the habit of severing away. You continue to bond with material items, places and relations; and these bindings continue to dominate you, thereby pushing you recurrently into the dark vortex. Your hands are tied within these bondages. Your mind is chained within these shackles. This darkness is becoming deeper.

Forsaking requires a big dose of strength and power. How can you capture something without freeing up your hands? Accepting novelty while forsaking the old, requires great courage. However, you ought to do this. You cannot stay tied within these bonds and shackles.

 

Devotion ought to melt like snow

A Ganga in Himalayas flow

If not in mine at least in your bosom

Of any kind, but a fire ought to glow

 

Both you and I are soulmates, you are part of my soul. You are not distinct from me, and I am not different from you. Both of our souls are closely intertwined with each other.  The Divine nectar within us is striving to merge together. Do not stop the flow of this divine elixir. We will need to find the answers within our own self somewhere.

The mind always remains submerged within the same darkness. We just need to churn within that mind itself. We need to initiate disruption, to break the bondages of despair and open the  nectar of hope. To refresh your body as well as the mind. This mind will automatically rejoice with divine joy. This will be a sign that you are proceeding in the correct direction.

Food in the belly, enough sleep, collecting stuff,  holding everything possible etc. sound very good. Think. If these didn’t give you any joy, was it all worthwhile?

I do not want you to stay on a pre-defined course, to make compromises in your life, or to keep drinking the poison of insults. I have become your soulmate to introduce you to yourself, to make you understand your own self. When both of us have intertwined souls, why don’t we both travel together on this spiritual path of divine elixir. This reminds me of a beautiful apt poem-

 

Do not waste a single tear

The ocean may want to borrow that one!

 

That the well never goes to thirsty,  is a mere proverb, not immortal

And there is none here who cant offer a portal

Dress up every song

The Gods may adore that one

 

The mirror breaks, the figures seldom

Man loses everything but the worries random

 

Exalt each dropping tear

The soul may bathe in that one

 

Futile to adore the paths, only the sturdy legs

Even Providence will not raise the one, who has fallen in own dreg

 

Admire  the love of each wave

Who knows to coast will take which one

Listen to the voice, to the promise which you have made to your own mind and your own soul. This is the voice of your Guru, it is the Brahmanaad of your life. Unite the voice of your mind with the divine Brahmanaad of your Guru. Ignite the fire within your own self, with the full flow of your energy. I am always within your mind and heart.
